[Well. This has been a heck of a month. A month during which Megaman has kind of completely disappeared, for the most part - he's mostly been laying low since he finally snapped back to "normal." He would very much like to keep people from noticing the similarities between him and Hub, thankyouverymuch.

So then, what could possibly prompt him to break cover?]

[And to lock Lan out of it, at that.] So, um...anybody who knew Hub Hikari? He's gone. Home, I mean, h-he's not in trouble or anything. Just, uh, just thought I should say something.

...you know, his...their birthday was this month. Hub and Lan's. I never got to do anything for it. I've gotten kind of used to things just kind of happening and ruining plans, but...I guess keep forgetting it can ruin birthdays, too.

So, ah, I guess I have a question for everyone who knows Lan. O-or anyone who wants to answer, I guess. What do you think would be the best possible belated birthday surprise? It's...I already messed up with this for one important person, and he left before I ever got a chance to make it up. I don't wanna do that to Lan, too.

[He's actually talking about Hiro at the end there, since Megaman is Hub and he hasn't gone anywhere. What people don't know can't hurt them, though, right?]

That's okay. It will probably be a while before he comes back. You can just have the gift I sent for him, and I'll get him another one if he ever comes back.

I don't want to just take someone else's gift! But if you're that worried about it, I'll give it to Lan and let him decide, how's that sound?

Um... You know what's always a good surprise? Pets! Especially since they're awesome company and the minus one brother thing, so. Yeah.

Yeah...yeah, he is. [Maybe. He's honestly not sure what Lan thinks about the kind of person Hub ended up being. Megaman's not particularly proud of himself, that's for certain...]

Eheh, well, I've already got a dog, and he's enough of a handful as it is! But I could have Lan help me teach him tricks? Rush already really likes him...

That's a good idea! But I don't know that it's birthday present worthy, y'know? Not that spending time with a puppy isn't a gift though, cause it totally is.

Hub? Is he Lan's twin brother? I'm sorry that he went home. I wish I could have met him. As for your question, maybe you can surprise Lan with a belated party or dinner between you two? Maybe you can have a surprise picnic in his favorite place! I'd like to help you get it ready, if you like. Or whatever you want to do, really.

Yeah, he is. I'm sure he would have loved to meet you too.

That sounds like a really nice idea! I bet he'd love it if I could get his favorite foods. Thank you, Nike. I'll definitely let you know once I've decided, if you really want to help.

If he is anything like you and Lan, then we would have gotten along really well. It's a shame I did miss meeting him. Of course I do! Whenever it comes to either of you, I will help as much as I can. Just let me know ahead of time over what or when we can get this done together. I bet he'll be so surprise to see you haven't forgotten his birthday. I know I would prefer it this way too. It'll be a bigger surprise than just celebrating it on one's birthday, you know.
