[ Surprisingly, Gino is a little more accustomed to talking to AI and drones than he is humans, and this one looks especially fascinating, so maybe this will go a little better than some of the other ventures he's made. Probably not, but maybe.

If he assesses the situation properly, he assumes it's probably nerves. He's still not exactly sure he processes how a machine can feel nervous, but even he himself can't quiet his churning stomach over the thought of moving in to a shared living space with people he hasn't met yet... so on some level he can relate. ]

I've only just arrived, but I can't see there being a problem with having you there. I live in number seven too, though I haven't been there yet. We could make that step together, if you're looking for company.

[Oh. Here we go. He straightens up a bit, flicking his wings. He can do this, right?]

Of course. You aren't like the AI I'm used to, but I don't see any reason why I shouldn't.

[ He pushes his glasses up his nose. It's not like he can scan for a hue color to give him a clue, like Kogami apparently can.. He's never relied on his own judgement before, but at least he has reasonable common sense. Kagerou doesn't look like a threat. ]

Why have you stayed away so long?

Because AI aren't people. As... far as everyone who built me is concerned.

[And he's still unlearning it. Whoops. Granted, they hadn't meant to do it, but... the damage was done.]

I don't know how to act with humans. Talking to them is stressful.

[ This isn't like the issue of his Enforcers or the issue of being a minority, this is more a matter of what makes a 'person' a person, and Gino can't see why something as interesting and advanced as AI sentience would be looked down upon. ]

That much is true, even for some humans. [ It's obvious that he's not so good at pep-talks; he looks a little more uncomfortable than usual as he tries to pick his words carefully, but at least he's trying. ] I take it you weren't made in this world, that those who built you aren't here? I've already learned that people here are very different. Perhaps someone will surprise you. [ He should listen to his own advice once in a while. ]

[Then again, he's sort of been holding himself apart from the humans this whole time, by virtue of literally avoiding them.]

Talking to others can be one of the greatest causes of anxiety for certain people. [ Haha, and doesn't he just know it. It's not that Gino isn't a confident man - he's capable and professional and intelligent - but in this world there's very little familiarity to put him in a comfortable position, so it's understandable that he hasn't exactly been the most social of butterflies. ]

It's okay to feel this way, but the only way you'll put your mind at ease is to experience it first hand. [ It sounds more like logical instructions than it does reassuring advice, but hey, he's trying. ]

[Like this is some other human thing he just can't grasp. Which wouldn't be a surprise to him, all things considered.]

[ His 'you aren't alone' speech sounds more like 'stop being so dramatic' with how curt his tone is, but that's just the way he speaks.. unfortunately...
