I'm looking for work.

[ --speak gruffly, pause, and then try again after a minute, with a better explanation this time. ]

What I mean is, I'm looking for temporary work until such time as I transition to a more permanent place of employment. [ Code for: I was fired. ]

I'm a veteran combatant and in the past I have corralled bandits, pirates, animals, monsters, and dragons. Considering those are few and far between in this place, I can also provide physical labor, fieldwork, and animal husbandry.

[ Clears his throat. ]

I am also an expert chef.

You know, I think there was actually some discussion of hiring a chef at the Residence. I'd have to double-check.

Work is easy to find here, but at the same time, difficult to find something that fits some skills. [ sasaki understands. ]

Though I can't help with the first part - I enjoy cooking a lot too. I imagine food from your world is quite different from this one.

Not as different as you would think. The ingredients are not the same, but the tastes and styles are remarkably similar.

The appeal is getting Hawke to stop asking.

A bold claim- one that I think must be put to the test. I would like to contract your services from time to time, for occasions that demand a higher quality of food preparation. If things go well, I may even be able to employ your cooking full-time.

[He really hates cooking his own food okay... and having a master chef on hand for fancy parties and receptions would be great.]
