It's usually common courtesy to let them know at least two weeks ahead of time so they can start looking for a replacement.

Two weeks is really considered the bare minimum. It's so you can make the transition as smooth as possible for everyone involved.

Ultimately, of course, it's your choice. Personally, though, I'd avoid burning bridges. You never know when you might need the people at your old workplace to vouch for you or provide a recommendation. Refusing to show up without giving proper warning might also leave a negative impression of imPorts in general.

However, as the natives are used to imPorts coming and going, they are more flexible regarding that. You won't get in trouble, but it'd be nice to at least speak to your soon to be ex-boss.

I would suggest, given the circs., you could simply go to management and explain, with tact, how you don't feel you fit into the job you've been given. Given how little notice employers get before having an imPort thrust into their employ, it's highly unlikely they'll be hard on you.
