[The first image you'll get to see on this particular video feed is pretty much a real detailed view of someone's eyes. They're way too close to the screen and you can almost see the individual flecks of deep brown when the image isn't blurred thanks to this guy moving more than a little bit. The individual responsible for such a sight is trying his damndest to figure out how the hell this thing works, how you can send messages or even videos on something that's very pointedly NOT shaped like a snail, and how you even know if it was working or not.

Eventually it seems like he's stopped caring, or decided that on sheer force of will alone that it's working. Because the feed pulls back and you can see this very 'good dog' expression on a very simple-looking man. A scar under his eye, and a rather ratty old straw hat perched atop his head.]

The food's really good here! And I wasn't even yelled at when I ate a lot, either, and I like that. [The crowd hadn't been the most fun, but who needed fun when there was food involved.]

An' yanno what? I don't like being away from my crew an' home, but if there's an adventure--Nihihi, then I guess I don't mind stayin' around! [And then that 'good dog' expression melts, as if exposed to heat very suddenly. A frown on his face.]

But there's so much land everywhere! And the ocean is so far away! There's too many buildings and I was told that there aren't any pirate ships here??

[Everything's happening so fast. Komasan only just learned that everyone should have a pirate ship, and now he's suddenly invited to a crew? What...what even is a crew? He doesn't care, if it means he can go on a pirate ship, it sounds fun.]

[Already he starts fantasizing. Maybe they can have...crew sleepovers on the pirate ship! Or...or crew breakfast! Gosh, with all this stuff he's making up right this second, why hasn't he joined a crew sooner?!]

[Just wait until he tells Chopper he just found him a friend--even though honestly, he hadn't planned on finding any new crewmates in this place, but how the heck could he turn a blind eye to have such a cool looking crewmate?

Really? Well, if there aren't many pirate ships here, I guess that's why. Little guy like you would be real fun to have on board.

[But when Monge cheers that he'd not only join--but join twice, Luffy can't help but to look smug. His head tipped back and an odd-sounding laugh escapes him--Nishishishi.]

All we gotta' do is find that ship now, and we'll be all set.

[He's just too excited, it feels so nice to belong to something, to have someone who wants him to be apart of something. "Fun to have on board," can you imagine? Him? This guy just met him and he already thinks he's fun. Komasan can barely wait to tell all his other friends what he did, they'll be just so proud of him. This bumpkin truly is moving on up.]

I can check the dollar store and see if they have any pirate ships for sale, zura!

If we find a cheap one, we can add onto it and make it a monge~ big pirate ship with lots of room for sleepovers, zuraa~!

Well, on the Merry Go, it's shaped like a sheep's head! But it sure is a special chair.

[This recap is pretty damn accurate. ...Even if the youkai is going to have trouble finding anything bigger than a toy at the dollar store.]

[He's perfect? If only he could record things, no one would believe him...

But enough about him, he has a ship to find. Already Komasan's grabbed a piece of paper and pencil and begins to scribble down notes. There is no way he's about to let his new crew down.]

[Sheep are cute, so Komasan can understand why people would want to sit on one.]

Oh--we're going to need a flag! A flag!

A pirate's ship ALWAYS has a pirate flag to go on it, you know--with the skull and crossbones on it!!

[He gestures with his hands, as if that'll help the little animal guy understand as he writes out everything.]

They're usually black, and we can draw it ourselves! I've done it before.
