2 ☄ Video
[The video opens on a guy with a mass of long hair that's being tied behind with both hands. The feed captures his medical coat, and the dim blue hue of monitors to his back. Their light reflects off the metal shelf by his right, whilst his desk sits in darkness, save for a lamp pointed down at the papers on its surface.
Machines hum in the background; together with the ticking of a clock and nearby footfall. He takes a hasty glance and, unsure of how to begin things, shuts his eyes. Does he introduce himself? Does he jump straight to his question? His fingers pull the tie taut then tap his sides. Last month's events were a strange twist of fate - a collapse of logic - that did not allow them peace. Alas! They had raised a question he could not solve alone.
It takes a moment of thought before he talks. His voice is calm but his speech? Noticably slow.]
On examining the situation with the rise of native superheroes, as you call them, I find myself puzzled. We beheld those who were ordinary become capable of the extraordinary. I request you answer one question that's on my mind:
What is the place of imPorts in this world now?

anyone putting blind faith in a n y of this was deluding themselves from the start
it is always about the exchange of services
a continual capitalistic circlejerk
everything has conditions and if you don't get told the conditions you can bet your ass it's coming for you later
and the minute something cheaper comes along that later becomes NOW pretty gd quick

I fear, whoever you are, that it always has. I cannot see how this world would break that pattern.
Regardless, I truly thank you for your answer. It is insightful as to the situation here.

has it now ever come before HERE???
we're given carte blanche p much, bc we are easy to control (""easy"" - i'm talking nanite shit not joke trials with tv lawyers and getting our asses thrown in a min security slammer to cool down) and bc they can make shit happen to us
but mostly bc we're convenient
BUT we are also hugely unpredictable and now they've got some of their own it isn't hard to see how we are heading for some big world nepotism
yw tho

I shall. Though such a title is unusual, and I will not hide that it would be nice to address you by your proper name. Unfortunately, what I've heard informs me as to why its hidden.
Anyway. The nanites you mention. I've heard of those. Is it the Porter responsible for those or our allies in government?

which means you can probs read which means take a browse thru this
seems like the good ole DOD is taking the cred since they make such a big deal about mining that shit for our ~ benefit ~
[this is actually her version of being helpful don't be confused]

What a load of nonsense.
[That's his verdict, then.]
Medical professionals are aware of the principle of consent to treatment. Patients deserve reliable guidance and not to be treated as subject for human experimentation.
They seem more like scientists than doctors.
[Much like his father. Wow many issues.]

Medicine, in other words. But it is not quite as brutal as it sounds.
[Which doesn't make him sound like a mad scientist, get out.]
