[ Aurican has been thinking long and hard on this. He saw his own memories in that dingy alley, looking at himself in a world that seem limiting, after what Aurican experienced here. It makes him think long and hard, starting on his nestmates, who he is, what he is and what it means here.

Which leads to this network post. ]

I saw my memories of my nestmates back home.

Do anyone have dragons in their world? What are they like?

All we've got is stories. Might be true ones, but never actually seen any.

Depends on where in the world you're asking. China's got these luck dragons. I think that's what they are. I don't know much about those ones, but I've heard they're the good sort. Places in Europe's got the really mean kind people were supposed to kill to save everyone. First Nations dragons were largely serpents or giant snakes more than they were the winged sort, all pretty much the bad sort of creature. Poisonous and dangerous, out to hurt people. Sometimes because they want to, sometimes because it's just their nature.

Those are the old stories.

There are newer ones, told in books and in movies. On TV. Most of them have kinder stories.

Pete's Dragon. The first one. From the 70s. Pretty sure they have it here. They got a Disney.

A boy finding a family in an older time than this one. Early 1900s sometime.

Nest...mates? What does that mean?

We don't have dragons where I'm from that I know of. Just stories about them.
goblinjr: (➥ Everything seems great.)

Oh. I've never heard that one before. [And he's not putting the pieces together about the whole 'dragons' and 'nestmates' things at the moment, either.]

Just about any you could think of. You've got the gold-hoarding, princess-stealing kind that the hero usually has to fight to save the day. And then you've got ones that can talk and are all wise and kind. Protectors.

Either way, they're pretty popular. People love dragons.
goblinjr: (➥ That's what friends are for.)

Wisdom comes with experience. Just keep living your life the best you can and you'll get there.

So, are you a fan of dragons too or...?
goblinjr: (➥ Things you swore you saw yourself.)

Wait, really? You're... You're a dragon?

How do you... you know, use this thing? It's gotta be hard with claws.
goblinjr: (➥ I am seeing in me now.)

Whoa. I didn't know the Porter could do that. More importantly, I'm glad I didn't say anything bad about dragons.

Sorry, bud. It still can't be nice to hear. Most people probably don't know any better. [He didn't, after all. Even with all of this alternate universe business, it never crossed his mind that dragons might be real somewhere.]

Maybe there are and they're just stuck in human bodies like you were? You could always ask, right?

[Oddly enough, Fluttershy is finding it much easy to respond to all these people using words on the network, rather than actually having face to face (or voice to voice) conversations.

Which is really the only reason she feels even remotely comfortable enough to respond with: ]

Dragons in Equestria are extremely selfish and.. and... just big bullies! [She sounds SO HUFFY.] Adult dragons are very mean, and don't think anything about it when what they're doing could be harming smaller creatures around them.

Baby dragons are very sweet and generous, though. And make such good friends. They can get very cranky when they start getting greedy and eating too many gems, though.

[If there's one thing Fluttershy's confident speaking about, it's animals. Magical or otherwise!]

[ADULT DRAGONS ARE THE WORST DON'T YOU 'Y I K E S' HER]

One-- um, one of my very good friends is a baby dragon, and he's not like the others at all. So I'm sure there are some that are very, very good.

It's just, in Equestria, dragons like to... um... they like to eat ponies.
