[A picture was originally suppose to be sent to a couple of her friend's inbox -- mainly Estelle, Namine, Normie, Komasan, Kanaya, Doc, Kagami, and Yuu -- but it found its way to the network instead without her notice. Right now, she may even be sitting somewhere near her roommates dressed as Mrs. Santa Claus in De Chima 006, reading her message out loud as she wants their input too.]
Hey! I was asked to be this year's lead singer at my job. I'm expected to sing all types of Christmas songs to the customers both inside the restaurant and while passing out flyers outside too. I don't really know any. And apparently there are a lot of songs for me to choose from. My boss recommended the more "classical" versions, and to give a "flirty, but family friendly" spin to some of them. Whatever that means.
So can anyone help me out in choosing and learning a few of these classical songs? May need some second opinions on the best way to interpret them as. I really want to do a good job at this! Enough to distract everyone from noticing how weird I look in this. How does the actual Mrs. Claus wear this without feeling strange? [Not that she's judging her, of course. It's just a weird choice. Even if it does look colorful.]

MONGE!!1
that is a very nice christmas outfit
but wont you get cold???
i didnt even know santa had a wife but it makes sense
he is such a nice person im glad he found someone
text
The outfit looked really cute when it was first handed to me. I was worried about that, actually. But fortunately, it's pretty warm to wear for the most part.
[The boots and knee-length stockings help. Too bad she couldn't levitate her phone far enough to get a proper full length picture.]
Did the Santa in your world not have a wife? He sounds like such a generous person; it'd be surprising if he weren't married. I mean, who helps him in making sure he remains healthy and strong while building all those toys? [Or preparing for his trip around the world?]
text
I was so excited to help it never crossed my mind
i just learned about christmas last year
[At least...he thinks it was last year. He came here in...January? But it was springtime when he left... Christmas had long since past.
Ugh, this time stuff is so confusing.]
i would like to come see you work
text
And of course! You should definitely come. I want to sing something for you. Do you have any favorite Christmas theme songs?
text
it always existed back home
but it was the first time i heard about it
the yokai committee chose me and komajiro to help santa deliver presents!!
it was fun
i dont know any christmas songs
maybe we can listen to some together and pick out the best one
text
Hey, Reliable-nii, what's he like? Is he as nice as everyone makes him out to be? How does he know when someone has been good or not? Could he be possibly be a spirit or something???
[She has a lot of question about this Santa fellow.]
That sounds like a great idea! When do you want to do this and where? A lot of people have been recommending me to google up lyrics and the songs too.
text
it is weird
i never really met him
maybe he was too busy
the committee just sent a package with everything we needed
I wonder if he even knows I helped
[He'll have to...make sure. Surely the Santa here is the same one from back home.]
i dont know what a google is but i have a radio
text
The radio is playing a lot of Christmas songs lately, one of those must be a classic...how about this one?
[And there's that link to All I Want for Christmas Is You, because of course.]
text
It'll take her a few minutes to return her reply after listening to the song, she enjoyed the lyrics, but they felt a little romantic for her tastes.]
It's a really sweet, romantic song! Didn't know this holiday had these type of themes too. I thought it was all about the kids. Could this be what they meant by "flirty"?

[Next comes "Santa Baby" (with a note that asks "is the singer trying to seduce Santa...?") and also "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow".]
text
I can send you a list. Many of the traditional carols have a pleasant sound, and you'll be able to effortlessly charm your guests I'm sure. But if I can't find a recording, I may have to sing them for you myself.
text
[Even Santa's actual outfit doesn't give her the sense it was appropriate to wear, but it was longer than her current outfit though.]
Can you? I'd appreciate that. Both the list and the songs. I've always wanted to sing with you again. It'll definitely help remember them better.

[He attaches an mp3 of a Christmas song for her.]
Your outfit by the way looks nice, I guess.
no subject
[At least, that's what her manager and co-workers have informed her when they were trying to convince her to wear the outfit.]
Thanks! I appreciate that. I don't really know which songs would be good for this sorta thing.
[After hearing the file he attached to his message, there will be some long hard minutes that will pass by before Nike decides to ask.]
Is this song even appropriate to sing in public in front of children????
[Because what is all this about catching a mom kissing Santa while she was still married to a father!? This can't be appropriate! Better yet it was so scandalizing!!!]
no subject
[Aka even Kagami can tell that her manager and co-workers are looking at her chest and other assets to make a quick buck. But nevertheless, he replies to question.]
Uh yeah? It's a popular song from what I read online, so it can't be that bad.
text;
theyre not making you do something weird are they
[ That outfit, "flirty"?? He's too innocent to not already find that scandalizing, okay. ]
text;
Who? I don't think so. Why?
[She may not have caught on that he was talking about her message or picture sent as of yet.]
no subject
that seems weird
kind of shady
dont you feel embarrassed?
[ Not that he's saying she's wrong if she doesn't feel embarrassed (still weird though to him), but he's more afraid it's shady people taking advantage of someone as nice as Nike. She's only been super nice and open as far as he's seen, after all. ]

As for songs well it's kind of bad that my first thought was this:
Bluetube link ahoy
Here's one that would probably work better:
Another bluetube link
And well... I'm not sure if this one would work for work, but I've been listening to it a lot lately:
And another bluetube link
text
[She'll listen to each one of the songs before reading the rest of the message because she was curious to see the type of songs Normie would like for this holiday season. By their conversation, she can guess the holidays exist in his world.]
I don't see anything wrong with the first song. The girl was behaving, wasn't she? Even if it was for materialistic reasons. It's better than nothing.
[Plus asking for a mine wasn't bad, she will make a good living off it even if she doesn't find gems there. The yacht was a little too much, but again she can use it to fish or something.]
The other two sound so catchy. The second one may be good for the kids to hear while the third is a nice song all around. I might just learn them both. They seem safe enough for everyone to hear.
no subject
The first song is
Uh
Do you know what a sugar daddy is?
[Man, this is not the conversation he was thinking about having today.]
The other two are classics, and for good reasons. This one's good too:
Bluetube link time

I guess I might be remembering one or two Christmas songs, but it's been years since anything like that back home. I can see if I can find them online to show you.
no subject
Thanks! I appreciate the help. Are the one or two Christmas songs that you already know your favorite?
no subject
It wasn't as big a thing as this here. Or, it was mostly for couples, I think. New Years is the bigger thing back home. But I guess. I know that 'Jingle Bells' one, or at least part of it.
no subject
[Hey, it's what more immediately catches Sorey's attention, given the bright colours of the outfit.]
I'm still figuring some of these songs myself. I've heard some in shops, but I haven't memorized any so far. But maybe someone from here or some world close to it that has Christmas back home might be able to help?
no subject
[It won't hit her that Sorey was responding to her message, but may have caught her returning home with it instead. Even if he was texting her instead of talking to her right now. Odd. Maybe she should go search for him.]
I'm kinda hoping it would be the case! Google wasn't much help other than giving me a list of all the classic songs. But it won't tell me which is popular. Have you learn any of the titles to them?
no subject
I think there's one about bells or something? And wishing everyone 'Merry Christmas'? I haven't heard a lot myself yet, I don't think. But there's probably a lot more songs too! Can you listen to them with the phones or something if you look them up? Knowing the names, maybe?
[Text]
And you look really great, Nike! Though I think Mrs. Claus might have more layers...
[Aren't you going to be cold in that?!]
