[On the one hand, he'd have to drive from De Chima because cars don't fit through porters. On the other hand, it'd be a good long-distance road test for his car, for when he makes an eight hour road trip to Boston later in the month.

Also that's a total of an hour and a half round trip of probably failing to make conversation. Another consideration: Newton.]

I have the time this weekend, if no one can drive you before then.

Most of their stuff on spirits and magic is absolutely useless with no basis in reality. Doesn't hurt to try though

I'm not surprised, we haven't run into any sort of spirit native to this world since we got here.

Obviously I completed the practical exam to get my license. But since I've never crashed, I couldn't really say either way from personal experience how safe it is.

I think in this case reading reports on it is more accurate than relying on my own observations.

It's a written test for the laws and a driving test for the practical part of things. And proof of identity, but that isn't much of an issue for imPorts.
