[The feed blinks on, and it's immediately clear that there is a Situation. Noah is pale and jittery, half out of the camera frame, and he may or may not have been crying just a bit. So, just more of the usual for a teen murder victim. However, something new is bothering him tonight.]

Is there anything that can turn off our powers?

[Slowly and clumsily, he turns the camera around, revealing a bedroom. The first thing one might notice is that it's no larger than a closet. But after that, it's clear something is... very wrong with the walls. It almost looks like they're bleeding, right from the drywall, sticky like sap.]

I don't want mine.

[An understatement. He decides not to mention how the bus windows shattered on his way home, and how his doorknob keeps rattling, like someone's trying to get in. Being able to disappear was much better than this.]

I don't know. I can't- [His confused frustration swells, and the door rattles. He turns the camera back around, away from it.] It keeps happening.

You needn't say it. [He nods in the direction of those walls.] That says it all. If you're anything like me and mine, of course—I'd never presume all ghosts have the same abilities, the same potential. However, those walls do look like something I'd done myself, once upon a time when I was a much younger member of the world after death.

[March gets a couple of blinks, like Noah is deciding whether or not to bite. He's never met another ghost, not like this. Brushing against shades of the dead on the ley line, maybe, but someone else who haunts the Earth?]

It wasn't this bad, back home. I couldn't do all this, not usually.

Not usually. [He has to taste that for a moment; this fellow finally gets a taste of real ghosthood, sounds like, and his instinct is to...get rid of it. Hmm hmm hmm. Very curious. Not the first to think this way, not the first to think this way and be converted to something much better.] All this is part of you now. You can learn to control it. Like...walking! Or riding a bike, even. Once you get the gist of it and learn to flex the muscles you need, it isn't a problem at all.
