Where are there good places to dance around here anyway? There was that crazy show with the weird loud "E D M" [can you hear the fingerquotes] music last month, but that's not happening all the time, right?

There aren't any dance halls or anything like that like there were back home.

Let's just say it reminds me a lot of the place I came from back home--full of crime and gangs and people to pull you into an alley at every corner.

What kind of dance halls did you have back where you're from?

Performance halls, theaters, bars... there are a bunch of places around Scuttle Town where I danced. It sure as heck paid better than my other job, too.

[Shantae, that sort of makes you sound like a stripper...] I'd never actually been to a "club" before until I got here. It was pretty fun!

I used to go all the time to clubs with Dana and my friends. Best way to unwind after a long day.

Well, I wouldn't exactly call it a career path, but I did get paid for it. [It was a minigame and everything.

Just wait until he sees what she wears for everyday life.] That sounds like a lot of fun, though! It's really relaxing, I think. You just let the music take you to a place it wants you to go, no thinking required.

I don't think I know of any of the other imports run clubs or anything like that.

I don't know who ran the place that crazy concert was at, but there were a lot of people there... and not all of them were imPorts.

Maybe they know of a club-- I'm pretty sure one that was just imPorts would be really small.

I mean, not every imPort knows how to have a good time.

I bet a lot of them do! Some people around here can just be pretty crabby. You know, the get-to-bed-before-10 types.

Choreographed performance routines mostly. We try to come up with fun, light hearted dances that will make the audience smile.

Have you tried DDR yet? It's not the same as going out to a party or a club, but it's still a fun way to dance!

DDR! Dance Dance Revolution. You watch a screen that's playing a song with arrows pointing in different directions throughout to the beat, which correspond to a big pad you stand on that has arrows to match. The more arrows you hit at the same time they show up on the song then the higher your score!

[ a short pause, then a small laugh: ] It's kinda hard to explain without a reference but it's super fun!

Doesn't that hurt? I've been hit with arrows before and it sucks.
