Or the plants are the aliens? Like in that movie where aliens took over people, maybe they thought plants were better. Being able to live off of water, sunlight, and carbon dioxide would be really useful, and if they could get around the lack of any limbs it would be a lot more practical than having to supply food to a whole invasion!


Maybe it's the bad guys' next big plan of attack, ne? Make this America have to depend entirely on other countries for the imported sugar and wine and then cut off the trade routes and hold it all hostage.
