I must confess it has been an adjustment. There are many technologies lacking here which I had come to take for granted.

Nonah has a reputation for being the least eventful of the Porter cities. It is a fine place for business and celebrations, but is rather more peaceful than some would prefer.

If you find Maurtia Falls more to your liking, you may consider moving here entirely. I understand the process is easily arranged.

I will have to give it a visit before I make up my mind, though if it's not difficult then I don't see why I should hesitate for long.

Spaceflight and hyperdrive come to mind. They allowed travel to other star systems. Droids were also far more advanced- they are called 'robots' in this world. Communications employed more holograms. And of course, medicine and weaponry were far more advanced.

Oh, it's nothing special. It's just that Maurtia Falls - surely you've been, it is an imPort city, after all - has a few people around that would more gladly shove a knife in your ribcage than go home with you at the end of the night, if you know what I mean. [ You can practically hear him rolling his eyes. ] And the barfights. Someone alwayyyyys gets drunk and decides they want to break a bottle and slice someone, even if they wind up with a fistful of glass shards themselves.

Cheaper booze, though.

I have not been yet! I've only been in this... "world"... for about a month. And I've been preoccupied, but that does sound rather exciting.

If only we could find a way to make it a knife in my ribcage AND have them come home with me. Now that'd be truly special. Sounds to me like it's altogether a positive. Alcohol on the dime, dinner and entertainment.

But it really depends on what you find interesting. [ stripbars, just bars, getting into trouble... it all depends on what he's looking for ]

I'm just looking for something livelier. A nightclub that is packed full is much more interesting than one with a few people milling about with drinks in their hands. A downtown that never turns off, people wandering about at the late hours. [He sighs loudly.]

Nonah is no Cairo.

De Chima is known for its nightlife. Also Maurtia Falls, but De Chima has more dance clubs. [ and less violence ]

Well, it was rather bustling at all hours of the night. [So much that people didn't seem to give much mind to the vampire who picked up a giant road roller to attempt to crush a teenager with it.] I enjoyed the 'energy' of it.

I have heard tell of Maurtia Falls. It sounds like some kind of party. What are dance clubs like in De Chima?

Maurtia Falls may be at the top of the list, but I recommend specifically looking at import businesses. There's a variety there depending on... how much recovery time you want.

What kinds of Import businesses are we talking about?

Admittedly I have been gone for some time, but I recall casinos, night clubs, rustic pubs. I could forward you a directory. But exploring the city itself can be it's own adventure. Some services are not readily apparent. So long as you can handle it's rough edges.

The exploration is part of the fun, but I must be mindful of my time, so that I do not waste it. So long as there's a healthy nocturnal population, I'm sure I'll manage.
