People have certain expectations when it comes to services, and they unconsciously associate some services with certain cities.

[Did you want a lesson in Import business strategy, Shantae? Well you're getting one.]

On one hand you could find a city that matches the culture of your service best, to maximize your local clientele. On the other, you could avoid competition, or increase your exclusivity by basing it in a city that doesn't match those expectations.
