[Guess who's awake for a time and bored enough to actually post to the network? Yep, it's Han Solo, and judging from the ambient radio playing pop music in the background he's posting from his garbage heap cab.]
This is probably the longest I've ever stayed on one planet in a while. [Yeah, we're just gonna get right to the kvetching, apparently.] Don't get me wrong, the place has its charms, but I miss being able to go from one planet to the other. Anybody else who's used to space travel missing that too?
[A second's pause, then:] And has somebody figured out how to fix this sleep plague yet? Or at least keep myself from falling asleep all the time. And don't say coffee.

What is it and all the people from space lately?
[A smirk.]
Well, there are certain...medications...that I can't officially recommend to you.

Dunno. Maybe the porter just likes us.
[Officially?] Yeah? Then how about unofficially?

I'm used to spending long periods of time on a planet, but - I'm used to having the option to go offworld. It's strange.
video
I've spent more of my life on a ship than on solid ground, I know how that feels. [The annoyance is very, very clear on Han's face there. This is something he finds deeply unfair.] And now you're stuck on one world, and there ain't even any spaceports or ships to speak of.
[Yes he made this post to bitch about not being in space why do you ask.]

[Normally one might think this was just some sort of mechanical filter on the other end of the audio. But Han will know a droid when he hears one.]
Where have you traveled to?
Audio;
Yeah, let's take that option off the table. I ain't that desperate yet.
[A huff.] I've been all over the galaxy, pal. Ever heard of the Millennium Falcon—the ship that made the Kessel Run in twelve parsecs? I'm her captain.

[Her people are more or less genetically coded to want to travel around.]
You should try visiting the other porter cities. There's a lot to see here, at least.
[Judging by the background, Aerith herself is answering this from a park.]
video;
Yeah, I am, but just plain travel's not the same. [A breath.] It's not like—flying your own ship through the stars, knowing you could go anywhere in the galaxy. I'm still stuck.
Audio
I know how you feel. I have not stayed for so long on one world since I was much younger than I am now.
[During Jedi training on Coruscant, to be specific.]
Audio
I know, the last time I stayed anywhere for longer than a month was—[he breaks off here, muttering something that sounds vaguely like counting off the years.] Since I was a kid on Corellia. [A huff.] And Corellia had ships and a spaceport.
Hey, how long have you been here again?

I've never really left the planet, but I'm used to being able to easily travel to numerous countries often. It is a luxury I never thought I'd miss so dearly.
...I don't know if it would help or hurt if I asked you to regale me with tales of your travels, but I am very curious about what other planets must be like.
no subject
[Oh, no. Oh, no, now you've gotten his attention.] Depends on what you wanna hear about. I've been all over the galaxy, I've seen all kinds of planets. [Is he preening? He's preening.] Helps if you've got a fast ship.

[Since she's from the 18th century time, just the idea of travelling to other countries was exciting enough, but now....world travelling is far more exciting to ask about.]
I haven't found a way to solve the issue, per say, but have you tried dancing in the rain?
( voice )
Well, first you need a fast ship capable of going into hyperspace. Then, depending on how big the ship is, you might need a copilot. Then you set a course for wherever you want. [Dryly:] But since there's no ships here, we're pretty much stuck.
[But he can sympathize with the excitement. He feels that sometimes too, that punch-drunk feeling of an adrenaline rush, after pulling off a supposedly impossible, or at least highly improbable feat.]
Why would I go dancing in the rain? I happen to like staying dry, thanks.

No. [Short and sweet.] And good, I'd hate to waste your time. I'm sure you're a busy guy, what with that ship you're trying to build.
[Also with the people you are probably torturing haha he's not bitter at all, why do you ask.]
