[ After the dreams finally ended (the dreams about the dream of where he fought and died against Russians and their imPort slaves), Aurican decided to make a small decision. But he's interested if anyone else shares his growing passion. ]
I have always been interested in magic. There was magic long ago in my world, but it disappeared when the first ten dragons died. Even though I can't use magic, I want to have a study group about magic, how magic from each other's world interacts here. Is there one available, or does it need to be made?

I am Lirael, by the way. Pleasure to meet you.

My name is Aurican.
Can you practice magic?

The Five Daughters of Paladine and the Five Sons of Takhisis were the very first beings to arrive in the world, when it was barren of all civilized life. Being the gods' first children, they were very powerful, enough to alter the landscape for their own purposes, but as far as I know they never shared this power to the people who started to appear and begun their own communities. Takhisis hated Paladine and hated his daughters more, and had her sons to kill Paladine's daughters. It ended with all of them dying, and magic disappeared with them.text;

They weren't just a source, they were the only ones who could practice magic. One of them, Aurora the Gold was the best of all sorcerers. She could make a mountain disappear from view.
But not all magic disappeared from their deaths. Their children lived, me among them, and they contain a little portion of magic, but not the extent of what the can do. Most of what we can do is to use breath weapons, and that's it.

I misunderstood your words.

Not like my mother, no. I can breathe fire, and I'm told by my tutor back home that it is only one extension of magic. It's a part of me, but not a part of my life.[ Not yet, anyway. ]
But I will return magic to my world one way or another.text;
Sounds ominous.

No it isn't.Voice;

I don't see the harm of discussing magic.

Some of it's not as nice as others. Most of it, I'd wager. Not all magic is meant to mix or mingle. You don't reckon a study group would have some occupational hazards?

Huh. Demon? Vampire turned before puberty? Cherub? Don't leave me in suspense, mate.

I'm a dragon.
