[Was that a mask? The visual shows what appears to be some sort of skeletal alien mask and the voice that accompanies it sounds oddly mechanical. Some here may recognize the cyborg General, even if just from historical records. While arriving as human, he'd quickly discovered his powers of transformation from the files he was given then after some brief experimenting he settled on the one he'd last been most familiar with. At least for now.]

Citizens. Heroes.

[The emphasized word seems to catch in his throat and there's a brief cough before he continues with an underlying growl to his tone.]

This is an unfortunate development. I was interrupted in the midst of a critical battle. I do not have time to deal with your little world's problems.

[The words are interrupted again by more coughing then an annoyed growl before the video cuts out abruptly.]

[ ...this song and dance again; Luke just lets out a sigh, having a feeling he already knows how this conversation is going to go. ]

[He's forgetting, for the moment, all the talk of people from the future.]

People are pulled in from different points in time. The Clone Wars was twenty years ago for me as well.

I'm trying to be, but the Jedi were destroyed by the Emperor and Vader after the Clone Wars.

[The names mean little to him, being past him time.]

[He's hearing bits and pieces of this story from various people and continues to put the puzzle together. There's oddly the trace of a cautious hope and optimism in his words.]

[ Luke tried, and failed, to not roll his eyes. Don't think he didn't pick up on that, Grevious. ]

But what do you mean by 'for the most part'? Some have survived?

[ He certainly didn't have the time to look, but Yoda couldn't be the last... right? ]

[Yes, he's immediately thinking of tracking this last Jedi down as soon as he can.]

It doesn't matter either way. You can't do anything from your time period, and you can't do anything while stuck here.

[ And he's not telling him about Revan either. So there. ]

[ Here? He has plenty to fear. Starting with his father and working his way on down. ]

[ Sorry, Grievous; you may not be part of the Empire, but the whole Jedi killer thing is a bit of a damper on him trusting you. ]

[He has his reasons. There are two sides to every story and what he knows the Jedi never bothered to ask.]

Then I will conclude that you are afraid, after all.

[ For a moment, Luke looked like he was going to snap, but he pulled himself back, letting out a breath. ]
