Soooooo... [Shantae says, fidgeting on the camera. She seems more awkward than usual.]
What the heck sort of worlds do you people come from where they don't have dance halls? Why is it that every time I mention that I used to be a dancer to make money back home, everyone always assumes that I was some kind of stripper?!
My clothes stay on, thank you very much!
--it's just hot where I come from!

[A pause and then a little softer:]
You know there ain't nothin' wrong with bein' a stripper.

Dancing's an art form, you know!

I wouldn't say stripper - though, sure, we are used to more conservative clothing.

I've enjoyed the clubs I've been to, though.
[ Video ]
But if you enjoy clubs, maybe you can ask if you can dance there, without being- well, a str.... well, stripper. [ yeahhh, Kaneki just stumbled on his own words, he is super awkward ]
[ Video ]
But people go there to dance for free. Heck, you usually have to pay to get in!

Of course, a good business card would clear that right up for you.
[The helpful advice she needed.]

--one thing my next outfit needs: pockets.

Anyway, I mean. Still better to put it on a card then just tell people five times a day.

"Shantae, Wish Granter and Also Dancer, Except Fully Clothed" seems wordy... can you fit that all on there?

But people just make weird dumb assumptions when I tell them I dance for a living back home. Ugh, it's a real pain in the butt...
Nonetheless, such assumptions are very rude, regardless of what you are wearing. Not all thoughts need to be voiced and even if I were to think something based on someone's outfit, we are in a wholly different world, old conventions of dress and clothing no longer apply.
Back home, people just wear this sort of thing all the time; it's not like it's a special performance outfit.
I guess it's a little rarer here, though.

If they say something that offends you, correct them or do not listen.
Do not let it bother you. You will be much happier.

Your clothing choices might reflect your culture or personal style or you wear them because it is hot. That doesn't give anyone the right to upset you over them.
