[ The feed opens up to a young woman sitting behind the counter of a flower shop. Several flower arrangements are lined up behind her, some more artfully arranged - and frankly, more gorgeous - than others.

(They're works in progress, okay?) On the bright side, she's sticking to safe combinations or single-flower bouquets, rather than branching out. ]

Hey, everyone. [ She beams into the camera; first impressions matter, after all. ] I've gotta ask, especially if you've been here a while: what's one thing you wish you'd known when you first got here?

I'm no stranger to parallel universes - trust me, living in Central City will do that to you - but it's still kind of surreal, you know? This doesn't have to be anything life-changing. It can be something small like, oh... I don't know, your new favorite coffee place?

You're Joe West's daughter, right? Iris? [ A smile. ] I'm Laurel Lance.

In answer to your question, I'm not that sure. I've seen some strange things in Star City.

[ Laurel Lance from Star City... like Detective Lance's kid? The one who passed away? Time really does work weird here. Iris draws in a breath, furrowing her brow. ]

Um, yeah. [ She swallows, forcing a nervous smile. She can do this. She's seen way stranger. ] It's nice to meet you, Laurel.

Now I guess the real question is: is your new city just as strange as Star City?

[ She had heard a lot about Iris from Felicity after her visits to Central City. Laurel came across some of her articles after an internet search. ]

Good to meet you too, Iris. [ Even though it took for them to come to an alternative world to do so. ]

It has its moments. I mean, there are moments I've probably missed because I haven't been here as long as some people.

Overall though? Heropa is a nice city. Especially during the summertime.

Yeah? What's the longest you've heard?

[ She's not asking for curiosity's sake; she's also asking to gauge just how long they've been stranded. ]

I haven't been there too often - the government placed me in Nonah - but I've been meaning to get back there. Maybe you could show me around?

About four years I think. Close to it anyway.

[ But this place seemed to have a longer history though. Before any imPorts showed up. ]

Sure, I could show you around. Get you a decent cup of coffee while I explain as much as I can about this place.

[ Laurel looks delighted by the idea. ]

Whoa. And here I thought a year or two was pretty long...

[ Note to future self: figure out how imPorts were called to save the world, anyway. ]

That would be fantastic, thank you! Can you come here and meet me, or would you rather have me meet you somewhere? I'm still getting used to the whole teleporter thing.

[ Sure, it's one thing to have them in STAR Labs. It's another to use them on a regular basis. ]

I can come and meet you. It would be no trouble at all. Besides, I'd hate for you to get lost.

[ And it also took Laurel some time to get used to the teleporter when she first arrived. ]

Give me about twenty minutes? I think that should be enough time to meet you.

[ This way, she can even wrap up her shift and close up! It's... not as if they're getting a ton of customers right now, anyway. ]
