We All Live In A Pokémon World (..Don't We?) [VIDEO]

[The video turns on to a scrawny guy with reddish-brown hair, black sunglasses pushed up into it. He's frowning at the device, though it may be more accurate to say pouting, but as soon as he notices it's recording, the pout breaks away into a cocky grin. Most noticeable in this video is the moving, furry orange-and-blonde shape behind him, which once the camera is rolling produces a canine face attached to it, blinking into the feed. A loudly barking one.]

--ARK ARK! ARK! Okay, okay, calm down boy. Sheesh.

[AHEM] Hey there, shmuks! The name's Blue- Blue Oak. Yeah, that Blue Oak. Looks like I'm sticking around this new backwater region for a little while, and I got a real important question for you all:

Where are all the Pokémon!? Since I've gotten here I haven't seen so much as a Pidgey or a Pikipek flyin' around, and these chumps that dropped me off at my digs looked at Arcanine like he was gonna eat them! Like my Pokémon aren't trained better than that, peh.

[...Of course, that was only the start of the questions he had about this place, but he's still in denial about the 'got transported to a new world' talk they gave him. Give him some time.]

...Anyway, anyone seen a quiet guy called Red wandering around? Probably has a Pikachu crawling on him. He'll probably get lost without me babysitting him... So if you see him, tell him to stay put and call Blue's Pokégear, will ya?

[He gives the feed a little two-fingered salute as he reaches to shut it off.] Alright, that's it! Smell ya later, losers!

In your communicator, you can find an imPort list, it has the names of imPort currently in this place and maybe you can find your friend there.

[The video feed jiggles as he turns his communicator over in his hand, briefly giving a view of Arcanine sniffing curiously, then his surroundings- a kitchen- then back to him.] So this Pokégear comes with everyone's numbers already built-in? That's pretty handy! [Jeez, why hadn't Silph thought of that yet.] I'll have to call him up, I guess. What a pain, honestly...

This world has no Pokemon to fly or swim over.

And it's called a "communicator". It has a lot of features that make things easier for the new arrivals. [ anyway- ] If your friend is here, his name will show on the list, all you have to do is tap their name to reach their inbox.

[Arcanine barks at the screen once, poking his snout in to snuffle at the screen as Blue attempts (in vain) to push him back out] Hey, don't slobber on it--

[And then he just gives the video screen a flat look.] ...That's up to gramps. And you're no beginning trainer, pal. [At least this guy knows who he is.]

Yeah, some Kanto trainer had one in Lilycove a few weeks ago. Or... months ago now, I s'pose. Entered it in a contest. Won! The friggin' cute one!

[archie just laughs.]

[For all he knows, he should be. After all, a name like "Blue Oak" is pretty distinctive on its own, and since D33 has quite literally been living underground up until now, he is likely quite out of the loop when it comes to celebrities.

[And then again, there is that whole "transported to a new world" thing to consider, but Blue isn't the only one in denial.]

[That much D33 can wrap his head around. Training and battling he also has more than a decent grasp on, but something here is giving him the idea that he and Blue aren't exactly thinking of the same thing.

[He's already frowning a little, so when he flat out asks what a Pokémon is, Blue's expression only becomes more incredulous.]
