[ oh no how does he answer this question. his first, and immediate, and objectively terrible thought when a pretty girl gives him an in like that is to ask her out (now! before she actually gets to know what a loser he is!) but he squashes that impulse. rubs the back of his neck like the question bothers him. ]

Nah, it's seriously no trouble. You can fund the soda for our study sesh, or something.

I've only had a little experience with local law enforcement. But I have spent time as a personal assistant.
