She doesn't skip saying Georgia's name because saying her name hurts - that'd be a little melodramatic. Thinking about her is sad and complicated and bittersweet, and Christ she misses her, but she's trying this thing where she is healthier and more rational and so trying to give someone absent less power over her, that's part of that. How effective it is? Yeah. There's no on/off switch for growth, unfortunately, just a sliding scale, and Sarissa feels like the slider might be faulty in her case, getting jammed and being too loose, so it gets stuck or just slides all over the place with little reliability.
Anyway. This is more about not wanting to give Sarah a reason to make fun of her, or a response to make it easy, or something. She knows Sarah isn't a saint, but normally its easier to bend over backwards to try to forgive her for it. )
