[Daryl bit into his dog shortly after Boyle took his own bite. He kept his head down and waited. It wasn't long before the man's power kicked in and Good Lord. He was pretty sure he let out a moan but for a split second while he tasted every last little bit of the fully loaded Italian sausage he didn't care. It felt like forever since he'd tasted anything normal and that would have been enough. But he got so much more than that. Every last little subtle bit of it came through in ways that would have overpowered him with his enhanced sense of taste.
The flavor overwhelmed the hot dog he was eating and gave the illusion that he was chewing on the sausage instead. It was a good idea to have grabbed it cause otherwise he probably would have bit his own tongue trying to take another bite.
