I was told that I would be accepted for who I am here. That all imPorts are monsters and freaks, in one way or another. How many of you have known that to be true?

[ Oh, shit, her thumb is bleeding. Justine winces, and sucks on the tip of it, ostensibly just to stop the bleeding, but something in her eyes looks oddly...satisfied. Until she realizes what she’s doing, and puts her hand out of view, looking slightly to the side instead of directly at the screen. ]

Any injury we receive will just be healed by the nanites, right? How long does that take?

From what I understand, our healing is somewhat accelerated, but that depends on whether you have complementary abilities. I do not, and it's not that much faster than before for me. The nanites largely allow for revival after death.

And I have found that to be true in my case. I'm a well-known pariah at home, but here I have been fortunate to find friendship.

ImPorts are generally accepted by everyone, regardless of their nature, yes. Though it depends highly on what they do here, too.

And regarding the nanites, it'd depend on what the injury is. I suppose we do heal faster.

...I mean, I haven't been here long, I can't really vouch for what everyone else thinks, but there seems to be all kinds of people here among us imPorts and there hasn't been any kind of a witch hunt.

I think we probably all got something weird about us. With so many people with different powers, from different walks of life, that kinda makes sense, yeah?

Surprisingly, yeah. Everyone here is way more cool with the whole 'not human' thing than the humans where I'm from. Granted, not everyone likes imPorts, and some people seem a little too enthused about it, but overall the reaction is generally positive.
