Achtung! As someone else already said, you are free to live anywhere you wish.

Government housing is technically for registered imPorts, this much is true. However, I've yet to find any documented instances of unsettled imPorts being forcibly removed from their homes. Which makes sense, really. Imagine people's outrage if some poor, jobless imPort got kicked out onto the streets.

So, in practice, your registration status shouldn't really affect your access to housing.

If you want more information beyond that, you will need to ask more specific questions, ja?

Hard to say. This world's technology is at the same time archaic and similar to my own world. The ports were proprietary back home, non-comparable here. Relies on specialized wireless tech, mostly.

Alright, wireless is good. That's easy. You just need to reprogram the signal to ping to the right people, speak the same language, and get the ports lined up properly on both ends.
