If you know about robotics, gadgets and electronics - from this world or others - I want to speak with you.

[ Good thing he's not easily angered by condescension. Other things, though... ]

The only thing I intend to make for you is trouble.

[ He'd seen what tech, especially the robotic kind, could become in the wrong hands. Then again, he's got it in his head that the omnic crisis is just looming on the horizon here, in its own way. ]

Give me something I might actually believe, and you don't have to worry about me trying anything.

[ He wasn't exactly daunted by the vague threats of alien hose face man. ]

Look, my main line of work is bounty hunting. I find wanted criminals and bring them in to the law for whatever justice to be served.

[Among other things; he'll do many shady jobs if the price suits him.]

I need a droid for tasks I need extra hands for and I need to have the best weapons and equipment that I can get.

[ That would certainly be a plausible reason to not announce his intent over the network. Even having done a similar call himself, the soldier was still suspicious. At least his gun seemed to go dark. ]

If I catch wind of you putting one hose on the other side of that line, you'll be answering to me.

[ He might still be suspicious, but he's lived a similar life back home. He just wanted to find a corrupt imPort, damn it. ]

Who made you the boss of everyone here?

[ All those fancy lights on his gun activated again. ]

Someone's gotta hold people in this city accountable.

[ C'mon. There's probably a drug deal going down behind him, or at least around the corner. ]

[Bane crossed his arms, looking more irritated than threatened.]

Since I'm not committing any crime here, you're wasting time with me.

[He idly wondered if this man had an oifficial law enforcement occupation or if he was more vigilante.]

[ He's in his own strange area that's somewhere between vigilante and legitimate hero, but he'd never admit to still holding on to that latter part.

He lingered for a moment, trying to decide whether or not he could trust this...thing. In the end, he decided he only had his gut telling him this guy was up to no good, and no actual proof. That was the deciding factor. He couldn't act without a genuine basis.

With a grunted noncommittal reply, he took several steps back from Bane, moving back for the street without turning his back.]

I'm keeping my eye on you.

[The bounty hunter stared back, mouth pressed into an irritated line. He'd keep this encounter in mind although he wasn't overly concerned about it. He's dealt with dangerous people in the past. It takes a lot to make him nervous, but he knew it was wise to remain cautious.]
