What kind of droid do you need?

I know a lot about blasters. I can upgrade yours, provided you provide me with the necessary tools. I can also perhaps try to turn two objects into a pair of good blasters, but you have to provide me with the objects, too. I can't conjure weapons out of thin air. I need basic materials.

Before we go too deep into talking shop, though, what's in this for me?

[ Krennic was fairly confident that he could do it, even if he's new to his powers, since he could amplify his own powers, like a battery, or a kyber crystal. That's something he didn't tell Bane. ]

I want a techno-service droid, portable with repulsorlifts. It needs to be able to fetch and carry, deliver messages - so it needs to be able to communicate - and, if possible, have some ... talent for breaking into difficult places. You know, something like a electronic code cracker.

[Basically he wants Todo 360 back. He was a handy droid to have around.]

In return you can take a simple payment or I can owe you a job. If I think it a fair exchange, that may be the preferable option for both parties.

Oh, that sort of droid. I can try to engineer one, so long as there are the relevant materials. It only sounds a little complicated, and my memory and skill of engineering a droid from scratch are a little rusty, not mention that I think we'll encounter some difficulties here regarding the tech, but it's entirely possible. I just need time, materials, and enough fund to procure such materials.

[ Krennic's perhaps only a little overconfident there--after all, he's a brilliant engineer and a genius, and machines yielded their secret to him, as with buildings--but he was quite sure he could do it. ]

Of course, it might take some time for me to construct such a contraption. Engineering a droid from scratch, especially a custom-made one, takes time.

Though that does sound like a fair exchange. If we are talking money, however, how much would it be, in US dollars?

That would depend upon how many parts you'd need and how much time it will take. I'll pay what it's worth.

The technology here may be different but as long as it's an approximation of what I'm looking for, it will be acceptable.

Do you have a particular blueprint I can use as a starter point? Or should I start from scratch? Because it depends on that.

I see. Then I'll see what I can do. I will start with the weapons first, since I could use my power to create them.

[ Yes, at least it's not a large droid. Bane kept quiet about the payment, though, but Krennic doesn't want to press it. For now. His job sucks and he's still trying to get a new one, might as well take a lucrative side project while he's at it, especially since he's thinking of starting something. ]
