[The existence of a network where people can voice their thoughts through audio or video broadcasts, or even by means of written text, isn't an entirely foreign concept to Kurama. The internet in the world he comes from is barely developed, but communication between the Ningenkai and Reikai has been operating on a similar wavelength for a very long time.

Of course, this network isn't as secure as the one he is familiar with. Messages sent through cyberspace are generally and simultaneously visible to hundreds of other people — other imPorts as it were.

There are certainly benefits to an open network, such as locating familiar faces, connecting with others who are also adjusting to life in a new world, and even transferring pertinent information back and forth between interested parties. But there is a general lack of confidentiality that is practiced which concerns Kurama too, and that warrants certain precautionary measures...

Thus, the name attached to his message reads deceptively: Shuichi Minamino.]

It seems each of the imPort cities has something unique to offer.

[Kurama speaks softly but with confidence, his voice like a musical instrument unto itself, evoking calmness and calling upon the attention of whomever may be listening.]

I was wondering...which of the four cities do you prefer? Have you any favorite attractions among them? And, if it would not be too much trouble, I would be interested in hearing peoples' opinions about their preferred community gardens, parks, and athletic facilities, as well.

I prefer Nonah in that case. I live there and I would say it is quiet for a Man-made city, though the noise was hard for me to bear at first.

[ Hajime is just used to either video or text, so while he might've actually taken pause before, he's open to showing his own face here. He smiles--if only because the voice seemed so calming, and honestly, he could use it... the Japanese accent in Hajime's voice is easy to pinpoint, but he shares a similar soothing quality to Kurama's. ]

Mm, if I had to pick... I think I'd stay in Heropa. It's a little hot, but I don't mind at all. It's nice to be kind of close to the beach, too. ♪ I don't think the other ones are, but America is big... I think the parks are very lively?

[Kurama isn't so trusting, and while he's not opposed to making appearances on the network eventually, the more judicious course of action would be to refrain during his first communication. Unwittingly giving away one's location is the quickest way to become one who is preyed upon, after all! Not that Hajime looks or sounds unfriendly. So far he even seems to be lacking the skepticism so commonly demonstrated by others...]

Warm climates can be quite lovely, especially if you like being close to the ocean. I'm sure that even so late in the year there's much to enjoy at the beach.

[Maybe in the days to come he'll collect some shells to decorate his room with. He might be wary of his living accommodations for having been given so freely, but that doesn't mean he should live in squalor!]

Heropa seems to be the popular spot. Nice weather year round, not as much crazy unless it's weather-related and that's normally someone's powers going out of control.

And then there're the beaches. It has a lot going for it.

I can't say the same for uncontrolled abilities, however. Is that common? Do peoples' powers often go on the fritz?

It's a pretty sweet set-up.

And nah, the uncontrolled abilities isn't all that common. Just happened a few times since I've been here and it's been almost a year now. But being by open water means it can get pretty bad when things are weather-based.

Yeah! I used to be in DeChima, but I was down here so much a move made sense.

...I mean it can be, but there are people with powers that can deal with it. Most of the time.
And really, unless there's something really weird going on it's not too different from hurricane season...

Ah, that's a tough one. I haven't really spent enough time in De Chima to have an opinion on it yet though, so ill just have to talk about the others.

Like someone else mentioned, Heropa is warm pretty much all the time and is near the beach. It's pretty nice there, but a little quiet for me.

Maurtia Falls is great if you want to get in trouble. [That was not sarcasm, sometimes teens like to get into trouble! Akira very much included.]

It's a bigger city, kind of cold, and people tend to overlook you, but don't go out at night if you aren't ready to defend yourself, it's got a lot of shady business, but that's part of what makes it fun, you know?

Nonah is where I currently live, and if you are looking for parks, I've found a few I like. I do a lot of wandering in Nonah because there are a lot of smaller businesses to find that are definitely worth it.

Accounts on Heropa's level of activity seem to vary, but if this person prefers Maurtia Falls, that can likely be chalked up to one thing: different strokes for different folks. Clearly the type of entertainment to be found in the warmer of the two imPort cities wasn't exciting enough for this one.

Kurama doesn't mind it, of course, but he'll hardly spend all of his time there for one very good reason...

[Akira is just far too busy being a Nasty Crime Boy to find much excitement in Heropa aside from Swear-ins and super people congregating a little. Which you know, was nice sometimes but he's got other priorities.]

I mean, yeah. It's a city, so of course there is stuff outside of shadiness. Plenty of good restaurants, you know? A bit out of my price range usually, though. There's probably more, but honestly I'm not in Maurtia Falls to explore it much.

I don't know the names of the parks or anything, but there are a few I tend to go through when I'm going to and from work. One of them has some bright yellow tulips near a bench, and a nice little stone walkway through it. The trees have some like.
That hanging stuff, you know? I like the ones with really fragrant flowers.
