[A wild kaiju has appeared. Big and grey and with four sets of glowing blue eyes, he fills the entire frame. Hermann steps around into the camera's view, and the sudden sense of scale just makes the Kaiju in the background look bigger. For anyone not still preoccupied by the monster behind him, Hermann's looking quite ill. He lifts a hand to gesture, then drops it to join the other in holding onto the cane planted firmly in front of him]

As seems to be the case with many, my husband's abilities have stretched beyond his control. While certainly inconvenient, our key issue here is that he hasn't really eaten in the week since the Porter's shut down, and I'm a bit concerned.

[The kaiju huffs and shrugs, a gesture that he puts his whole body into, like a player overcompensating for their silence in a game of charades.]

[Hermann scowls, as though very much aware of the sentiment attempting to be conveyed]

He hasn't professed to desire anything in particular, but he clearly does need to subsist on something, so given what little we understand about their appetite, we've decided raw fish may be the best option.

[A kaiju look of betrayal]

[Hermann waves an irritated hand and mutters] Absolutely not. [Clearing his throat, he straightens] And that brings us to a bit of an odd request: if anyone is available to make a delivery or two of fish to our address, you'll be compensated for the trouble.

[The kaiju tips his head toward the camera once, twice in a quick jerk as if prompting him]

[Hermann smacks a large leg, then walks toward the camera to shut off the feed] I'm not saying that.

Er, well- not usually. Ocassionally, that is. He's- [Harmless, he almost says, then remembers no, no he isnt] He has his own mind still.

Yes, as I've mentioned. Usually it's an ability he can control and so things like eating and such have never been a problem before this point.

[Doc has been severely weakened by all of this and is stuck on bed rest, so he is much in need of amusement. Unfortunately, most of what he feels is worry.]

Is it fish in general that he objects to, or that they're raw? There likely wouldn't be any harm in cooking it, though precise cooking of such a large batch would be...difficult. A large blowtorch may work?

Everything tastes weird and I don't WANT to be a kaiju. I don't really need to make this experience more real.

I don't know for certain, but I know he's uncomfortable. He needs to eat however, and I'm hoping fish will be nutritious enough without being too different in terms of diet.

[The kaiju barks in offense, nearly a squawk, and bristles. He'd cearly like to start a fight because EXCUSE YOU. Instead, he ends up whining at his husband and sulking.]

Yes, just fish. I don't know that spices would do him any favors. He's not injured, so I don't believe a healing ability will do much to help, but we appreciate the offer.
