Here I thought to introduce this barren land - though it will not be so in Spring - and instead I have a question to pose:

When mortals grow ill, do they feel as if they are Fading? {He knows the use of that word might be questionable, but he refuses to use the term "dying".} I have only felt worse than this three times in my life.

I cannot breathe through my nose - nor can I stop sneezing or coughing. My body aches and I feel uncommonly hot.

Looks like you've caught a cold. There's no cure for it, it will just go away in a week or two.

Those events had nothing to do with me feeling physically ill. {Well there was the huge, pressing grief for two of them and the third one included extensive dragon burns, so... Yes, but no?}
