hello! its very strange thinking that ive made it to 19, and its because im here i think?
which also made me consider other things about being here
there are so many people with so many kinds of powers and i thought maybe theres someone that could help me with something??

you see im supposed to be a perfect copy of someone but im not
im deaf, but my template wasnt
and while i can make most of the miracles he could
i cant heal/fix myself
and maybe its a long shot but i thought id ask
if theres anyone here that can fix things like that??

Couldn't they take you in for repairs? An auditory system shouldn't be that difficult to fix.

I've never tried to heal anything other than physical injuries so I would definitely understand if you changed your mind on that.

its not usually so bad other than having to talk around people that cant sign
but my template was hearing so i know im supposed to be able to hear

if someone can't heal you there should be a certain level technology in this world alone that could help. i'm not certain if something like a hearing aid would help your specific condition.

it would be nice if all i needed was a hearing aid! ive tried a couple before at home tho and they didnt do anything

though there are people here with technology far beyond anything i've seen before. maybe you'll have some luck there if it cannot be healed.

is cloning common in your world? regardless, if you do find a way to solve this it will be quite the experience, won't it? to hear clearly for the first time. overwhelming, i'm sure, but incredible.

[ .. oh! he'd had no idea that magnus knew how to sign. but it's not as if he's spoken to him much, so maybe that's his fault for never asking. he'd just kind of assumed..

he flicks to video because it's nice getting the chance to actually talk to someone instead of having to text all the time, but then sort of pauses as he rewatches the response.

for a moment or two, he hesitates, and when his hands start to move, they're cautious, too. it.. doesn't really make sense, after all. he's damaged, and while that doesn't mean he's completely broken, he's certainly not perfect. he's not what his makers wanted him to be; he's not even what lucifer wants him to be.

My template was able to hear. Physically I'm supposed to be just like him. Not being able to hear means I'm defective. You don't want a clock that doesn't tell time. .. For instance. ]
