Hello, especially to the newcomers. I’m Ken Kaneki and I’ve been in this world for three and half years now. Don’t worry, most of you will be leaving before the one year mark. [ better to add that before everyone starts to freak out ] I’ve written a F.A.Q., if you want to know a little more about your situation, and I've also written down notes regarding what happened through the years I have been here. I'm attaching the links if you want to have a look. Jacob-san, from RISE, has also compiled a Threat Roster which works as a resource to know who our current enemies are. [ because YES, they have enemies ] If you have any questions, I can try answering.

On a much more positive note, :Re Café is still on going and we have new faces working with us, Veronica and Justine are our new employees, please treat them all. We will be adding Veronica's slushies to the menu since her power is useful like that. [ and since newcomers are here and Kaneki no longer hides it ] Our coffee shop provides mostly japanese food and snacks, we are also a book café, and we provide food for non-humans. [ take that as you will ]

Finally and unrelated to the above. Mako-san and Daryl were ported out. I was waiting for them to come back but... [ he sighs a little. Kaneki doesn't deal well with loss ] Nevermind. I just wanted to let you know about that.

Some, but I don't want to make them public yet since it's still under investigation.

There is a man called Audric Müller, that seems to be a handler of sorts. I've asked help in locating him, and they have found out that Müller uses cosmetic surgeries to blend with the America society. The focus right now are on the plastic surgeons, but in all fairness, with the genetic researches OTO has been involved in, I think it could be more than just plastic surgery.

Makes sense. I'll keep that name low-key until we have something more solid to work with. If this guy is altering his appearance all the time, it'll be hard to find him. Especially if there's gene modification involved.

[ kaneki hums ] Which makes things harder for us too.

OTO has been surprisingly quiet but I don't think they'd give up on us so easily. However, apart from this, there hasn't been anything else. At least not on my end.

Yeah, real quiet... But there's no way they've gone away. They've got something else in the works, I know it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were behind the ship that attacked the Big Brother station.

That came to mind. [ kaneki sighs ]

I have some OTO and Russian plans for advanced technology I got back in February. [ yeaaaah he never really told anyone about that ] The problem is that I have no access to the drone parts to compare the two.

The government locked everything up and didn't let anyone take a sample of the drone.

[Jacob sounds surprised.]

Last year? You mean... when you went to Liechtenstein?

Why didn't you mention this earlier?

I suppose it never came up. Plus, I didn't want to give the government these files, I wanted to use them as leverage. [ he admits to not trusting them completely at least ]

So I didn't want many people to know about them.

[Jacob snorts.]

Right. Wonder if that was the government's reasoning when they locked those drone parts away.

So what other leads do we have, then? Besides a name without a face and some plans.

I can send them to you, if you wish.

I honestly have no other other leads. There hasn't been much to pick up and explore.

Sure, send them along. Maybe we'll be able to find something. And we'll let you know if we do.

[ kaneki will do that. The plans are of advanced and futuristic EMPs and Electronic Disruptors, and plans and prototypes for invisibility aeroplanes that appear to be able to achieve fuel efficiency for around-the-world journeys. A lot of the aesthetic and design of the stealth planes and electronic disruptors appear Russian in nature. ]
