Everyone and everything dies. Deserving or not doesn't really enter into it.

If you're talking about deliberately ending a life, the question isn't whether it's deserved, it's whether it's necessary. And most of the time, there's little need for someone to end a life.

An interesting question and one I've had cause to think of before! There is no good and solid answer that cannot be debated, or for which an exception cannot be found. When I think of humans that deserve to die, I think rather of extremities of situation that say they must die. They can no longer be dealt with by their fellows given the resources and circumstances. If they cannot be imprisoned or persuaded to cease maladaptive behaviors, then perhaps they must die.

I also must say I have no tears to shed for slavers.
