Good evening, Network.
For the past several months I have been curating a list on known worlds/universes/multiverses imPorts come from. As it has been a while since the last time I polled the Network on this subject matter, I'm once again asking you to describe what information you can about where you come from and what makes your world unique.
Please consult my current list to see if your world is there. I will save you time and specify that if you come from "the Galaxy" with the Jedi, I am very, very well aware of that universe. You don't need to give me any more data. Thank you.
Some datapoints to consider:
• Is your world a variation on "Earth"? If so, how is it different from this one? If not, what is it called?
• Are there superhumans? Does the supernatural and/or magic exist? Is space travel common? Have you ever participated in time travel?
• Are you aware of imports from versions of your universe? In your universe, were you aware of the multiverse?
• Does your universe have "memes"? If so, what are some?
Thank you for your time.
OFF TOPIC ADDITIONAL QUESTION: Would anyone be willing to experiment with some minor time travel experiments?
(( OOC: If you know your character has spoken to Skeets about their universe but isn't on the list, please let me know!
Also feel free to pester him with questions or assume his "write up" isn't as in-depth as your character would like if stuff's already on the list. ))

and we have way more elves and dwarves and goblins and orcs and stuff than this world

if you're gonna tell the story of our world, at least get the races spelled right

So would I be correct in assuming it's non-Earth like?
Additionally I will list "goblins" and "gerblins" as variant spellings of one another.

We don't have superhumans or anything supernatural, that I know of. I come from a bit farther into the future, so the technology was more advanced, though we didn't have flying cars like they have here. More AI, though. That's the only main difference I can think of.

2. Space travel is regular but not common. No time travel, supernatural, magic. Mutants are people exposed to the radiation in the wasteland, sometimes can develop abilities.
3. I'm the only one. I'd heard rumors of the "multiverse" but nothing substantiated.
4. No?
5. Define minor time travel experiments, and I might.

2. Do you have examples of the sorts of abilities these "mutants" would be capable of?
3. Would these be rumours you heard in your own universe or in this one?
5. Some months ago the Porter gave me time travel capabilities that I have not made use of nor fully understand the extent to which I'm capable of, aside from the very minimal amount of time I am allowed to travel. However, I believe I may be able to bring people with me, for which I may need volunteers.

I've heard good things about you.
This is quite an extensive list! I'm impressed. I'll have to speak to Owain to be sure he hasn't already shared anything with you or not before I can know if I've of any assistance.
But beyond that, I'm wondering what you mean by those minor time travel experiments? I wasn't aware such a thing was possible here of our own accord.

The Porter found need to give me new abilities earlier this year, one of which is the ability to travel 60 seconds through time. I haven't found evidence of any other time travel, something of a curiosity.

2. yeah, there are superhumans. i'm not an expert, but i can try to explain the spread on that. the government's super soldier program during world war ii created captain america, and i guess he's one of the first? after that it gets weird. aliens are definitely a thing but we're not rushing into space. no on time travel
3. there are definitely imports from my earth and ones close to it. the multiverse was theoretical, i think
4. i can't just explain vine like this
no subject
I'm unfamiliar with "Captain America", however the presence of superhumans is intriguing. You said he was one of the first, I assume there are others?
In my universe in this era, there were many aliens who made Earth their home for various reasons, as well as more than a few alien races who arrived in order to conquer the planet. Does either of those sound similar to your world or is there some other explanation for your knowledge of their existence?
Do you know what some of the commonalities between your universe and these similar universes?
I'm aware of Vine. Have you seen this one?
[ Pretend he uploaded the video onto the network directly instead of linked so I can pretend he just happens to have all of Vines in his historical records or some shit, listen. LEMME HANDWAVE THIS. ]

1. We're Earth! I don't think it's fundamentally different from this one. There are countries in my world that don't seem to exist here, but the geography where they exist is most usually present if it's not man-made.
2. We have super-humans of pretty much every ilk. Mutants are born with a gene that grants various abilities. Other people gain powers through experimentation, magic, alien lineage, etc.
3. Yes to both, here! I've met a good number of people from other versions of my world, and I think a few of my same-world mates are also here. There's also people from an alternate world living on my home-world, and these people are also often from the future.
4. I mostly remember image macros of animals.

1. Out of curiosity, what are some of the countries that only exist in your world? Are there cities that don't exist either?
2. That sounds similar to the world I am from, though I'm not familiar with that definition of "Mutant". It bears some similarities to metahumans, perhaps, but if you could elaborate I would be grateful.
3. Fascinating. Are people from "the future" common? How are they different than other people from alternate worlds?
4. A classic tradition.

-Earth is humanity's home planet in my universe, but we've also built hundreds of orbiting space colonies positioned at the Earth-Moon Lagrange points. Collectively we call the planet and its colonies the Earth Sphere. When we first started living in space, we changed calendar systems from AD to AC (After Colony). I come from the year AC 195.
-No superhumans or magic. [except, like, his own, but he doesn't consider it as something supernatural so the data's a little skewed.] Space travel is common. Time travel is not.
-What do you mean by multiverse? I didn't think seriously about alternate realities before coming here, if that answers your question.
-I don't believe so? At least, I don't recognize it. What does it mean?
no subject
[ Skeets likes nice, tidy names. It makes things a lot easier to file. ]
The - or alternatively "a" - multiverse is a collection of parallel realities and alternate universes. In my own universe, we were aware of different versions of Earth where things transpired differently than on our own.
A "meme" in the way I am speaking is a type of internet humour derived through variants and repetition. It was an attempt at a joke.

In my time we do have people with biotic powers (changing the mass of things), and just before I left, every living being was suddenly part synthetic and on a galaxywide mental network; my papers in this place call it technopathy. Space travel's so common that I grew up in the colonies and didn't see Earth until I was an adult, and humanity's been in contact with aliens for the last twenty-nine years. I haven't time travelled, though (and don't really want to try).
There's one other imPort from my galaxy and he says there used to be more, but from different versions, like someone we know was a different gender, there was someone alive who's dead in our versions, and I'm pretty sure I'm the only one networked. I'd kind of heard of the multiverse just because I know some scifi nerds, but I didn't think it was real.
My sisters used to send me memes but I don't remember any off the top of my head. [And checking her omni-tool for them will make her miss her sisters :c]
voice.
[ A little amused. ]
But it is an interesting project.
