[First rewind:]
[Daisy has just come back from her morning jog/getting breakfast to bring back home because she's too lazy to cook. Unable to shake this weird feeling that she's had ever since she's woken up, Daisy gets on the network to see if this has happened to anyone else. She remembers the sound of the warnings going off so clearly.]
Okay. I know weird things happening around here isn't that unusual, but I had the weirdest dream before that I can't shake. Did anyone else have a dream where a missile hit Heropa? Because it feels so vivid and everything I've done so far today feels like deja vu.
[Second rewind:]
[Daisy looks a lot less put together than yesterday, and this time she isn't in her sports attire. ]
Okay this is definitely not some dream. What the hell is happening? Does anyone have any information on this missile? I'm trying to find its location, but unsurprisingly, nothing. Not yet anyway. Clearly it's targeting something or someone here in Heropa. Does anyone else remember getting hurt, or worse, and waking up healed again like nothings happened?
[Because she can still remember the bright flash, and pain, and then nothing. So sleep clearly isn't going to be a thing again tonight.]

[Something didn't seem right about that being the possible answer to this though.]
What would they get with something like this though?
no subject
[It's making Laurel consider other reasons why this was happening.]
Maybe it isn't deja vu. We could have gone through this day before. Like a time loop or something.
no subject
[She's never dealt with a time loop before and doesn't even know where to start with something like this.]
Have you ever gone through a time loop before?
no subject
[It didn't seem like much of a stretch for a time loop to happen.]
What about you?

Better question: is there anything that is changing. This is probably just a distraction.

Right. What we got so far is someone with some sort of fucking time warp machine.
[It's a question but...not really. Overkill doesn't ask for help. Or ask, period.]
no subject
[Time warp machine...]
The porter might have something to do with this. Doesn't explain why Heropa is getting nuked though.

[Apparently yelling at a missile didn't fix it. Goddammit.
Also, don't judge: his main nemesis is a guy who flies around in a giant capital T. ]
Hm. Who's in Heropa they might be going after? [OTHER than Overkill, of course. Suspicious that he just arrives and bam, this happens. Very, very suspicious. ]

[Her included.]
Finding where the bomb is aimed for is the first step to figuring out who this is for, or what it's for.
I'm Daisy by the way.
no subject
[Come on, that should narrow it down, at least a little.]
Right. We need to track it. I'll get on that.
[What's the point of cybernetic eyes if you don't abuse their abilities now and then?]
That's a terrible code name. [Come on. Daisy? Really? Not even 'Daisycutter'? ]
no subject
Guess I'll be sifting through a lot of the network and majority reports.
[She's already starting to do that since her laptop was right next to her, when he comments on her 'code name'. Pausing in her typing, Daisy looks over to the screen again.]
It's not a code name. It's my name.
[Daisy? As a code name? Come on. Biting the inside of her cheek, Daisy looks back to her computer screen again.]
I'm guessing you usually go by an alias?
no subject
I'm my own alias. [Yeah, that sounds badass. But also...] Only one person calls me something else and she's.
.
.
Evil.
no subject
[She's mostly being sarcastic. Although if it ends up leading them somewhere, well, it would be worth it then.]
Evil because she's actually evil, or because whatever nickname she's given you gets to you?
no subject
[Who also liked doing boring computer stuff, but at least Dangerboat WAS a boring computer so that at least made sense.]
Supervillain evil. Has her own henchmen evil.
no subject
[Seriously? That was seriously an alias someone had actually come up with?]
Really? And is she here? Or are you lucky enough to have avoided her making the journey here too?
no subject
If she's not here, you're the ones who are lucky.
[She's EVIL.]
no subject
[Back onto the more important topic.]
How do you plan on tracking this thing?
