Forgive me. I wish to ask of things touched upon again and again -- much more than the span of days we've just endured. I've already read so much about the past here that I may go cross-eyed to scour any further, and...and there's...something to be said of hearing truths from first-hand sources.

Should you be willing, please tell me: how long did it take you to know for certain your friend or loved one has left-- returned, as it were. What did you do? How many days did it take you to find it in you to be certain?

...How did you know they had forgotten, too? All of this, good and ill. [with an empty laugh in her voice:] There's a lot to be said about fools who believe anything in life is certain, of course, but all the same... A fool like me can at least do her part to ask.

Mm. Several people who have been stranded here for a long time have either shared their knowledge with me personally, or have already documented what they know for all to read.

That'd be great. I'd like to read more about this place, and how we all ended up here. [ Almost prisoners, but not quite. Shiro knows real prisons. ] It's almost like the Earth I'm from, but wildly different at the same time, and not just because I'm from the future.

You'll hear much the same from many, many others here. The name 'Earth' seems to be quite common among various sorts of realms...though I can't say it's much the same for me. Even so, there's still facets that are shared for even a world so different as mine.

But--yes. If you can give me a few minutes to...re-remember how to send items directly to a person through this device, I'll gladly share what was given to me. You may not find it as comprehensive as you would wish, but...it's a valuable tool all the same. The rest that is not a mystery? It...those are things you learn by finding those among us who have been here for quite a long time.

I, yes, I suppose I am...The maps of this world are nothing like those of home. And any magic present here appears to be born in those drawn in by this world's goddess, not--[paper rifling.] Not native. So it's quite different.

My universe has magic, too, but I couldn't tell you how it works or where it's from. [ Even though he's technically a magic user, as paladin of the Black Lion. At least, he thinks he is. Allura and Coran could've been a little clearer about it. ] Humans haven't discovered it yet, in my time. Otherwise, it's the same Earth, different history.

Same...cities, even? [if she sounds kind of distracted, she is: why are there menus for menus on this device. how is that helpful.]

Well, it's far enough in my past that it's hard to say, but so far all the major cities I've looked for are around. Heropa, De Chima and Maurtia Falls don't exist in my universe.
