[Jason doesn’t bother to go with video, because why the hell would he put his face out there for everyone to see when he has no idea who knows who he is. Even his ego isn’t that big. So he keeps it to voice and wants to put out the feelers. A couple days to look around at his surroundings, he thinks he needs more information. What better way to do it than to ask?]

I don’t know what’s worse, the creepy fan culture for the "heroes" or the job program that gives you the worst freaking possible match-up they can. Like they think it’s cute. Not sure that’s going to work out, but a D+ for trolling effort.

Someone tell me there’s real fun to being dragged into another universe, because right now I may as well be dying of boredom.

I don't know about fun, but it's been... pretty interesting, so far, even so. [ Anderson has a measured, even-toned quality to her voice that makes it hard to suss out just what she's referring to with 'interesting'. ]

Interesting is what they say about a little kids' art protect after they dumped glue all over it. That doesn't tell me much of anything about this place.

That said, I dunno that the fan culture here's that different from what already exists in my world. Only difference here is that none of us asked for it.

And I'm pretty sure the whole secret identity thing keeps people from stalking you to your homes where I'm from or every hero would have restraining orders against someone.

What's "creepy" about pro heroes having fans? [ She'll admit, sometimes people take it overboard (she's looking at you, Midoriya-kun), but all in all it isn't so bad. ] They're public figures, and they help inspire people. Surely, it's better to be a fan of someone like that than some musician or actor?

If you get into being a hero because you want fans, you're going to be a shit hero. You're not supposed to do it for praise and adoration.
