In terms of payment, the easiest thing would be free gymnastics classes in association with my work. However, other arrangements can be made.

I know how to drive and I have a driver's licence, but I don't drive for a living or anything like that. I suppose that means I'm just someone who knows enough.

Yes. You need a driver's licence if you want to drive in this place. And the driver's license is acquired after a driving test and a written test, to prove that you know how to drive and you know the rules for when driving.

That's right. Once you pass both written and road exams, and get your license, there isn't any further qualification needed. Unless you wanted to get a different type of license in the future- for example, for a motorbike or for driving a cargo vehicle.

I'm partial to motorbikes, myself.

I'm interested in whatever is fast, efficient, and subtle. I doubt I'll regularly be traveling with anyone else.

Though it's sensible to get something energy-efficient with room for groceries.

Sounds to me like you're after a motorcycle, more than a car. It's a different type of license, but less versatile for the amount of vehicles it covers.

It's a prerequisite for a license. Unless you're over 18, in which case I THINK it's not a big deal.
