Nah, just your imagination, 'cos it's not now. Normie gives a little lopsided smile to the camera.]

Hey there. [Small wave.] My name’s Norman Osborn, and uh, according to my file I'm apparently a genealogist now. Well, "Family Genealogy Researcher," but I'm pretty sure that's the same thing. I don't think anyone seeing this will really need one, but honestly I don't know too much about genealogy so I'd appreciate any help anyone can give, even if it's just pointing me in the direction of the nearest library. Oh right, I'm in Nonah, so that would be the library there.

[He leans over to turn off the feed, then suddenly stops and resumes his original position.]

Before I forget, I'm looking for the location of the nearest junkyard, or maybe a pawn or thrift store that might have some broken electronics I can take off their hands. I'm also looking to buy some welding equipment. I need them for...

[For a fraction of a second, there's a crazed smile stretched across the young Osborn's face. However, just as quickly as it comes, it's gone, replaced by the lopsided grin that had been there all along.]

Norman Osborn... like Karen's employee? The one that was somehow tied up with Kanaya's prison mess? Interesting. Either this is someone who shares name with him, or they are actually the same person. There's obviously alternate universes going on here, but that one's new.]

Sadly I'm living in Pennsylvania right now so I'm not sure how useful it will be, but I have two thrift stores near my house if you're interested.

I'm still a little new to everything, but don't they have transporters that can take me there? Uh, if you're near one of those?

Oh, I am! I think it's 15 minutes walking, so it's not too far away. But Maurtia Falls is the city with imPorts with the highest criminal rating. I'm not saying it's dangerous to walk around the streets, a lot of people live here and go on their ways.

But it's probably safer to start with the other cities.

But you should probably get to know this world first. Do you have anyone from your world here? [He has to, since there's someone with his exact same name. He just wants to see what he answers to that.]

Well that was one of the reasons I wanted to get my hands on some old "junk," to get a better idea of how things work around here.

[She... so not the Norman Osborn. He makes a mental note to check for recent posts.]

Well, I have only been here for a coupe months but if you have any questions I'll try to answer. Your name sounds really familiar to me, I must say.

[A smile creeps over his face.]

I thought that was what you were getting at. The other Norman Osborn is my grandfather. I am his namesake. However, as he died when I was a child, I have my doubts that he is from the same world as me.

[He raises his eyebrows in surprise.] Grandfather. Wow, that's a new one.

But there's a lot of alternate universes mixing up and ending up here, and they like to play around with the timelines. Depending on the kind of world you come from it's even worse... it's usually worlds where ['There's metahumans'. But some people don't know the term.] ...some people have some sort of superpower.

[Also arches an eyebrow.] Is there a problem?

Of course not. I just... well, some people have meet their parents when they were younger, or other members of their family. Just not their grandfather. If he's the man I'm thinking of he's actually working for a friend of mine.

And worse because I've met people I have known in my world that are from around 5 different realities, and counting.

Has there more than one Norman Osborn here before now? [Because if so, he'd really like to know now.]

And I don't know, I don't think so. But I haven't been here for that long, and I only recently heard of your grandfather via my friend. [And because of the whole Kanaya and Rose being goblins incident...]

Has he done something? [Of course he has.]

[He knows he's probably done something, but that 'probably' is all he has.] Nothing that I know about, but like I said I haven't been here for all that long.

But you sound like you wouldn't be surprised if he had.

My grandfather was a public figure when he was alive. He did a lot of things.

[Sorry he's being so cagey, Clark. He's still trying to figure out what's going on and who he can trust.]

[It's only making him more curious... so from now on he'll keep an ear out for that particular name.]

Some people change. Especially in this place, everything we did back home can be left behind and start afresh.

That's only assuming someone wishes to change.

Well, I hope he surprises you. In a good way, obviously.

I'm just glad to know that in some universe my grandfather is alive and well.

[And that's... not entirely a lie. He might hate his grandfather, but he does still sort of love him too. It's complicated.]

But I'm afraid we've gotten off topic. Do you have any advice for me, Mr. Kent? About this new world we all have found ourselves in?

Honestly, from what you've said to people so far your world isn't much different from this one. You'll just have to get used to alternate universe shenanigans, and the fact that we're outsiders in this world.

We're both feared and admired.
