[Anna appears on the feed for the first time in many months. In spite of the smile she's trying to keep in place, the sadness she's carried reflects in both her eyes and her voice.

It takes a moment, clearing her throat uncomfortably and swallowing hard before she speaks.]

Hi everyone. Anna here. It's been a while since I last posted. Too long maybe but I just needed the time away? Not sure if it helped but.

I'll get to the point. As many of you may have realized, my sister Elsa has left this world. If what everyone says is correct, she's back home in Arendelle now. Things work out and she ends up happy in in the end, the best queen our country has ever seen.

[And yet, that last sentence has Anna's voice wavering.]

So. Yes. [A pause.] As for me, I'm still here though I'm living in Nonah now. Haven't spent much time in the city but I'm starting to find my away around. I might try to restart the sweets shop in the future? But for now I'm focusing on the adjustments of being somewhere new.

[There's a halfhearted wave and a weak smile when the feed closes out.]

I'm sorry about your sister, but it's good to hear there's a happy ending.

[Anna is smiling, truly, at the mention of her boyfriend. They're all kinds of official these days. She unconsciously fiddles with the pair of pendants on her necklace while talking - a cameo of a crocus and a metal antler.]

I am! He took me camping for a while to try and help get away from it all. But it's time for me to get back to real life.

And hey, Elsa and I spent more time together here than we had in years back home. So at least I have some good memories to cherish until then. I even have a couple selfies we took together!

[Sorry not sorry. One of the Sailor Scouts taught her that word.]

Nice to be back with civilization, huh? [ She likes to tease Kristoff. ] That's what counts. I don't doubt it's disappointing when someone from home is ported out, but you've got those memories at least.

[willthaw]

[A soft, fake whisper.] I really missed have long, fancy baths. [She giggles a bit.]

Honestly, Kristoff is probably glad to be rid of me for a while. It turns out I'm pretty terrible at camping. I mean big surprise, right? Sheltered Princess who had never left her castle courtyard until three days before arriving in Heropa and all.

[At the mention of memories and porting, Anna sobers just a bit.] Definitely. And if I'm being truthful? Elsa will be much happier at home. I mean there's a lot of strife in a short amount of time that she has to go through first but by the end? She'll be in control of her powers and want to be a family again. She hasn't felt that since we were little and there's nothing I want for her more.

Camping's not for everyone. I prefer camping out in my living room with a stack of movies and pizza.

[ She pauses. ]

Being here must be quite the culture shock. Must have been like that for your sister, too.

Oh me too! Movies, pizza, and popcorn that isn't burnt. I'm still working on that last one though.

[A grin.]

It was in some ways. But, honestly, even experiencing the world beyond the castle walls was a pretty big shock? I'd dreamt of it for so long and my imagination did no justice.

Though coming here was so much more, of course, I think I've taken to it far better than my sister. I always wanted to see more but she'd spent most of our lives hiding and isolation. I was so happy there were other people with powers here to help her stop feeling so alone.
