[Anna appears on the feed for the first time in many months. In spite of the smile she's trying to keep in place, the sadness she's carried reflects in both her eyes and her voice.

It takes a moment, clearing her throat uncomfortably and swallowing hard before she speaks.]

Hi everyone. Anna here. It's been a while since I last posted. Too long maybe but I just needed the time away? Not sure if it helped but.

I'll get to the point. As many of you may have realized, my sister Elsa has left this world. If what everyone says is correct, she's back home in Arendelle now. Things work out and she ends up happy in in the end, the best queen our country has ever seen.

[And yet, that last sentence has Anna's voice wavering.]

So. Yes. [A pause.] As for me, I'm still here though I'm living in Nonah now. Haven't spent much time in the city but I'm starting to find my away around. I might try to restart the sweets shop in the future? But for now I'm focusing on the adjustments of being somewhere new.

[There's a halfhearted wave and a weak smile when the feed closes out.]

[ Rachel definitely knows what it feels like when someone you're close with from home goes back, so- obviously it's distraction time ]

Taking some time out to readjust is always a good thing. That's good. But I have to be honest - I've missed your sweet shop. The one that was over by [ enter the correct location of their sweet shop YEP ], right? You guys made the best marshmallow fudge, like... Literally - by the true definition of the word literally - the best. I know I"m just Random Customer #345, but if you ever needed help getting things up and running again, you could count me in.

[Anna takes some time away from her device, mostly to sniffle and wipe away tears. When she does look and see replies, she's in better spirits.

Rachel's words, especially, brings a real smile to her face.]

It was good but I know it's time for me to try and get back in the swing of it all. Her future, our future, is a good one so I'll put my faith in that and focus on this world for now.

[Sisters' Sweets in Heropa was a big step in the process of the two royal girls getting close again. Anna had loved every minute. There's a real smile, one that manages to get all the way to her eyes this time.]

None of our customers are just random numbers! Were just random numbers? Either way. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Honestly, there are so many kinds of fudge I never even had the chance to try and make.

See, I'm the type that once I find one or two that I like, I just get them all the time. So as long as there were the peanutbutter ones, and the marshmallow ones, I was in heaven. [ a beat ] Don't get me wrong! I like mixing things up every so often. But I'm not ashamed to say I had a favorite type of fudge.

[willthaw]

I used to be like that but now that I can make the chocolate myself? It's far too much fun to try and make the most ridiculous combinations I can! But it'd be silly for me to deny anyone a favorite!

Hey, Anna. Me and Elsa were friends -- she was always really nice, so I'm glad to hear everything works out for her in the end.

[Truly glad. He knows she's had a rough time.]

Are you doing okay with her gone?

[All of Anna's responses take a little while to come. That first message, saying it aloud to the whole world instead of just Kristoff? Somehow it made the loss feel more real. When she does reply later, Anna does manage to do so with a calm face and steady voice.]

You were? [A faint smile.] I'm glad to hear Elsa connected during her time here. That's never been easy for her.

I think I'm okay. I know there's a bright future ahead and that gives me hope? It's just hard knowing it may be years here before I can experience all those good years we missed

I hope it won't be years -- and if time was passing over where she is, I bet she'd say the same. She only said nice things about you.

[In the rare times that she did, which wasn't at all frequent.]

Until then, I hope you can enjoy yourself here. There must be some things you like.

I'm sorry about your sister, but it's good to hear there's a happy ending.

[Anna is smiling, truly, at the mention of her boyfriend. They're all kinds of official these days. She unconsciously fiddles with the pair of pendants on her necklace while talking - a cameo of a crocus and a metal antler.]

I am! He took me camping for a while to try and help get away from it all. But it's time for me to get back to real life.

And hey, Elsa and I spent more time together here than we had in years back home. So at least I have some good memories to cherish until then. I even have a couple selfies we took together!

[Sorry not sorry. One of the Sailor Scouts taught her that word.]

Nice to be back with civilization, huh? [ She likes to tease Kristoff. ] That's what counts. I don't doubt it's disappointing when someone from home is ported out, but you've got those memories at least.

I'm sorry to hear about your sister. That must kind of suck. At least things work out though and you know that! [ Positives. Traci likes to try to stay positive. ] Fresh starts are always nice though. How are you liking Nonah? I've thought about spending more time there.

[When Anna finally manages to rein in her emotions she responds to the messages left. It takes a while but when she does reply, it's with a genuinely friendly voice.]

Though I know the future is a positive one, it sometimes feels like it's a lifetime away since I don't know when I'll go home you know? The last few weeks have been tough, if only because we spent most of our younger years estranged. We were just starting to get close again, here, when she vanished.

I really do appreciate the sentiment though, thank you for that.

[Though her expression dips early on, the smile finds its way back quick enough.]

Nonah isn't too bad. It's not quite so hot and oppressive as Florida! My homeland is in the far, far north by comparison so it took some getting used to. Fortunately, one of my powers is fueled by solar absorption so it was actually pretty beneficial. Besides that, the biggest difference is the size. Nonah is such a big, busy city! I've never seen anything like it!

[booyahh]

Oh, that's even worse. I'm sorry. Hey, who knows, maybe she'll come back? It's possible. Anything here is right? [ Traci tries to be upbeat. Not just for herself but for everyone in general. ] Or maybe you'll go home soon. I get it though, it's hard to tell and sometimes it's hard to miss certain people here.

[ She keeps a smile and nods ] Big cities can be a pretty large difference if you're not used to it. [ It's almost a pun. No get out Traci. ] That's cool that your powers are fueled by solar absorption though. Florida helps with that one.

[Hey, Anna. Have a young boy with rather unruly hair and very blue eyes responding here. He does seem rather upset and empathetic for her being without her sister, her family.]

Sorry about your sister. But at least....at least you know she's okay back home, right? I miss my friend Kairi too. But I know she's safe back home for now. And if she was here, there's a chance she could come back, right? Or that you could go back to Arendelle too. We just can't quite control that yet.....

[Oh right. Introductions.]

I'm Sora! I haven't been to Nonah yet, but if there's a sweets shop, I could come check it out! Did you have those...gummi bears?

[willthaw]

Yeah she's okay. Better than okay really. It all works out and for Elsa, that's the one thing I've always wanted more than anything else.

And until something changes, I'll just keep my mind focused on the positive.

[A little wave interrupts her dialogue then.]

There was a shop we had in Heropa, not here in Nonah now. [A pause, she isn't sure what "those" gummi bears means.] Is there some special kind?

Right. I guess that's good. That she's back home and things work out at least. Even if for the time being, we miss our friends back home.

[He can agree and admire her on that, trying to stay positive in the face of it all.]

I don't know. I just heard about gummi bears from Normie I think it was. Some kind of lolly I think. He mentioned them when I was talking to him about the Gummi ship back home.

Anna, are you all right? Do you need to talk?

I... I'm okay. Sorry for running off without giving you a heads up. When Kristoff suggested we head into the mountains for a bit I just up and left. That was rather thoughtless.

[A faint smile.]

How about you? How have you been?

No it wasn't. You had other things on your mind! I understand.

I'm all right! Still working.

I'm sorry about your sister. It's not easy to lose someone close here, even if you know they go home and do great things.

[He gives her a slight smile. He hasn't been here long, but he's already experienced that feeling himself. Even then he can't imagine what she's been going through.]

How are you holding up?

The last person who went home was someone I was happier to see go than stay so I guess this time around just caught me off guard.

[A faint smile.]

It's kind of you to ask. Better now than when I first found out, that's for sure. Time doesn't heal the way people claim it does but at least it makes things easier to bare.

[His smile widens, just a little.]

It never really heals, I've found, but that's a really good way to put it. It's really about how we deal with that pain next, isn't it? And it sounds like you're going to be doing okay if you're reopening your store.

At least Nonah's a little less humid, huh?

You should go on a ghost tour. It's cheesy at best, but some of the stuff is, like, actual history. If you're interested in that kind of thing.

It's a lot less humid! I've finally managed to keep my hair to being a frizzy disaster only in the mornings. [Kristoff's seen it now so not reason not to make a little fun at her own expense.] Half the reason I still kept the braids in Florida was that there wasn't much of a choice besides.

[Clearly, she's considering the idea as she 'hmms' distractedly.]

You know, one of my roommates does the ghost tours too! Danny Fenton? Have you two met?

[malodorous]

Nope. Never heard of him.

It's not the sort of thing you hang around the home base for, though. It'd be pretty easy for me to have missed him, even if he works for the same people and everything.
