[The camera focuses on a trio of cats, just barely getting out of their kitten stage. Each of them wearing a bandana with a suspiciously familiar symbol on it. They’re not exactly sitting still for the camera. The darker one keeps trying to slink away, and the ginger cat is attacking an exposed socked foot belonging to the person holding the camera. The white one is the only cat who is contentedly sitting neatly next to an inconspicuous box, snoozing.]
O-ow! Cream, stop that, that’s my toe!
[Gogo’s voice is exasperated but fondly amused at her dumb children.]
Coffee, get back over here.
Don’t let him get a taste for you, Gogo.
[Shadow comes around from behind the camera, dropping down to a crouch to put down both the escape artist Coffee and the bag of treats and other pet supplies from the other room. He then sits on his haunches.]
Think they’re ready to meet the newbies?
They can handle anything. They’re mine, after all.
[That foot rolls Cream over onto his back as he gnaws at her toes; gently nudging him towards his brothers. Shadow begins removing one kitten after another, three in total and sets them on the ground. He is prepared for the hissing, he expects it. Just a matter of how easily they can socialize with each other.
Sugar doesn’t react, content to keep napping, but Cream arches his back and Coffee freezes, both eyeing up the new kittens warily. There’s a snort from behind camera.]
I can’t believe you talked me into this.
You really want surprise cat fights? I don’t.
[He starts rummaging through the plastic sack and tosses out a little fluffy mouse toy, then a little bell ball so everyone can have something to play with. Then out comes a little ziploc bag.]
Catnip?
[The most clueless look crosses the lion’s face as he turns his attention to the screen.]
What’s this stuff for?
It’s something that makes cats really happy.
[Shad accepts this answer and then opens the package, sprinkling some around the kittens. None of them seem terribly interested in it, so he goes to sniff it for himself. His eyes light up as he sniffs it and he dumps some into his paw to lick it off. A low rumbling exhale that sounds like a purr escapes him and he just bites the entire package, flopping onto his side to rip the entire thing open.
Gogo had started to move to try and stop him from eating it, but can only stare (and film) as Shadow mauls the bag to get at the catnip. The camera lowers a little (but not all the way because blackmail material), and she steps in to kneel next to him.]
Shadow? You okay?
Rrrgh.
[The bag is momentarily forgotten when Gogo gets close; he gets off the ground and closes the distance between them, his face getting up close and personal with the camera before he knocks Gogo right over out of view.
The camera clatters to the ground dizzyingly as it’s dropped. Gogo’s swearing the last thing heard before the video abruptly ends.]
((Red is Gogo, and purple is Shadow. Responses will be answered after Gogo deals with an overly cuddlefriendly cat.))

She just wanted to make sure her cats were chill with the new kittens. What is this affection?]
Shad....Shadow....
Action
[A long rumble, a half purr while he rubs his head against her neck and chest, totally lacking in self awareness at the moment.
Lions are highly social, and touch orientated, so that might at least explain the sudden affection.]
Action
[Whelp. This is her life now. She shifts her shoulders so she's not crammed against the floor and looks around for her phone.
Just out of reach by the box. Right.]
Sugar. Sugar get my phone.
[Sugar instead lets out a tiny, squeaky yawn. He's helpful.]
Action
Can you bench press a lion, Gogo?]
Action
Note to self. Never try catnip again.

Well, the fact that he's, well, drugged, is complicating that. A lever?

I should probably get him into bed so he can sleep it off. [Doesn't look excited by that prospect.]
Leave a trail of nip leading there. Will probably make it easier.
