There are things we need before we can even consider rescuing any of them.

Information, primarily speaking.

Now I don't care where it comes from or how it was obtained, I just need every scrap of information anyone has on this situation. Perhaps it's not much on an individual scale, but compiling everything into one source may grant us more insight.

I've gone ahead and created such a document, though it is locked down for security reasons- as all informative responses to this should be. I've granted some individuals access, and will continue to do so as I sort through responses. Everyone with access will have the ability to add their knowledge to it, as well as share the document with others. Moderately complex perhaps, but it's an attempt to keep the information leaks to a minimum.

There's not much there at the moment, as it only reflects my observations so far, but collaborative discussion of course is highly encouraged. I will store frequent back-up copies in case of error.

I have a complete list of captives that I can pass along. Miles has been able to use his mental link to his communicator to keep in contact with me.

I'd like to further add our theory that they're not in space but rather underwater. Miles has significant experience ship-board and finds the space story suspect. In addition, he overheard a guard wringing water out of his clothes and complaining that it was salty.

Keep in mind, if the security on your document's going to do any good, you'll want some extra on the discussion as well. I've attached a little something I've been working on - geocryption algorithm, only devices within the US will be able to open what you encrypt with it.

That's quite alright. I believe we have that angle covered. Fortunately there are a few capable of space travel all on their own. But if the captives are beneath the ocean, I'm curious to know how that might affect your ability.

I'm trying to figure out a way that could block LACKEY from accessing us via our nanites. That's the only thing all of the kidnapped imPorts seem to have in common. If we can get the frequency that one or the other runs on, it shouldn't be too hard to switch to another or create a something to nullify LACKEY's ability to interfere with us remotely.

And if we find a way to be sure our powers aren't nullified by proximity, as long as I'm provided with adequate light I could search underwater. I don't trust my powers enough to take more than just myself though, and maybe one other person.

Doing anything of the sort would require in-depth research we don't precisely have the time for at the moment. I do know of a team that intends to perform such tests, but for now, I rather imagine we will be disabling LACKEY through less elegant means.

As far as testing proximity nullification, I will be able to do as much without trouble once we have their coordinates.

I'm also certain sufficient light could be sorted out.. What sort of underwater capabilities do you possess?
