Would you say that your powers define you?
voice;
My powers are unique to one who has trained in my order. ( A beat. ) Well, they are in my own world, in any case. Nevertheless, they are simply one other facet of who I am as a person.
What makes you ask?

I think "define" is a pretty arbitrary word.
Having my power changed and shaped who I am now. I identify myself as a user of it before anything else.
But I'm the one who dictated how the power was used and defined what it meant to me. It's neither one way or the other.
text;
It is. I wanted to encourage different interpretations.
You're saying it has changed you, but you do not let that power control who you are?

They call them powers here, but it's the way I've always been.
But I have a new one I just found out about...and it changes things.

[ it's a shitty question for question coming from an honest place; that and Shino hates leading questions. usually someone has a point they're trying to make, and he'd rather hear what they want out of an exchange than play guessing games. (this does not, however, mean he reads any such situations correctly.) ]

[To Kidou, it's a fair question. There's no irritation at all.]

i wonder if its that the porter isnt quite calibrated to us given that shes native to earth
but barring an allowance in the "powers" granted to us she has a tendency to alter our biology to make us more familiar
if you remove those powers then we are forced to spend our time here in bodies that are alien to us

Yeah, they should. But, I can't deny that powers appear to have some tie to the people who gained them.
