I'm not sure. Those I've met are just changed.

They're not aware on how to moderate their new abilities. Or they're capable of accidentally setting fires. These things change how they interact with others.

I see. With the right training, those issues will lesson with time. ( And demonic possession doesn't seem to be as much of an issue in this world. Thank the Maker for small mercies. ) Once they have gained control over their powers, would those powers truly define them?

It does take time. How long have they been aware of their powers?

A month.

Then they have plenty of time. Usually, it takes years for one to truly control their abilities.
