Greetings, Network. My name is Skeets. Before you inquire, yes, I am a robot, yes, I am sentient, no, I am not a flying roomba. [ He's on camera, and his voice is clearly robotic; both those things always gets those types of questions so he wants to be as efficient as possible. Though if someone questions him on any of those points he'll be patient.]

I have several matters that need to be addressed. First, I teach history at De Chima University, and I hold open classes once a month on the last Saturday that you can attend even if you are not a student. Second, I am acting CEO of Blue & Gold INC, a robotics company, and am looking for new employees. Please let me know if you're interested.

Finally, I am afraid that many members of the Justice League have been ported out in the past few months. For those unaware, the Justice League is a team of superheroes. Members can coordinate during crises, train in the Hall of Justice and can work together to fight for the greater good. However, members are forbidden from using lethal force.

If you are interested in joining the Justice League, please speak to me. I've taken over temporary administration until our founding members return. We are in dire need of experienced members, sp p;ease contact me. If you're worried you're not experienced enough, we do have quote unquote "internship" positions so you can train with the best. Or, at least, the best who are currently still imPorts.

I believe that's all, unless I've been left with another set of loose ends to deal with. For the record, if anyone is currently writing a will to be read Post=Portum [ thank you Majority Report re: Taako's album for giving him that term for his vocabulary ], please refrain from leaving me any more responsibilities.

As for plates that are being juggled -- I believe I have enough, though it helps that I do not sleep.

I believe Pokemon could be incredibly useful in certain situations, but it seems inadvisable to have them in combat situations against other creatures. Would this be an accurate assessment?

Hello, Skeets, my name is Connor. May I ask what sorts of robotic products your company researches and produces?

[ Skeets does a movement akin to a nod. Robots - or even cyborgs - that are almost indistinguishable from humans are rare where he's from but not impossible -- plus he's been an imPort for a while so he takes it in stride. ]

Greetings. We mostly deal in household, assistive, and rescue robotics with technology contemporary to this era and world.

[ Skeets insisted that they don't use future technology to make them when him and Ted founded the company; it loses them a bit of an edge in the market but better than meddling. Practically too, it also means they can get all the materials, equipment and parts easily. ]

We also offer repair services to other mechanical, cybernetic and partially cybernetic imports.

[ a slight pause, and connor straightens faintly in interest, head tilting. ]

--Repairs? Do you often have issues with resolving incompatible parts and-or software?

It can be an issue. Before I got new powers with the ability to repair myself, it was a difficulty finding both people and technology capable of repairing my chassis, which is an upgraded version of my 25th century build. If it's a truly difficult case, I keep track of those with the kind of expertise capable of unusual repairs even if they're not an employee and am willing to act as a middleman if need be.

I'm hoping that if Blue and Gold consistently gets imPort hires from various alternate realities, each contributing to our files and knowledge, we'll be able to build up a database of information that could help with a wide-range of imports, even if those individuals end up being ported out. This database is also kept separate from the commercial side of the company.

The free lessons are more of a QA - I pick a time period, give a brief overview and then spend the rest of the lesson answering questions. It can go quite in-depth!

That...sounds interesting. How often do you get into topics that I would be interested in. Er -- Socio-political. [ Or you know, Sociology of the DC Universe, Mitch would eat that shit up. ]

It also helps that I can grade papers and exams five times as fast as my collegues. Especially if I include multiple choice sections.

Socio-political history is a very broad topic in itself, it comes up all the time but if there's something you're interested you may have to be more specific. But on the other hand, if you were interested in coming I'm sure I could arrange whatever topic that interested you.

You're probably better than an optical test reader, too.

But I'm sure, ah, I could forward you a list. I'm mostly keyed into modern history, but... I could always use some brushing up on the other stuff. My mom taught civics, so... that was probably a bit too much a part of my daily life to have too many gaps. She'd be rolling in her grave if I let anyone but her teach me.

Modern history? My knowledge tends to be better pre-World War Two, as most of my historical data begins to diverge extensively between this world and my own after that, but I've managed to fill in most of the gaps between the two since then.

I'm more interested in...less-modern. Ancient shit. Theory, that bullshit. Not that I haven't read a lot, but beyond my college polisci class, I haven't done much since. It's been all education by experience.

Hmmm, I believe that could be doable. I'm sure there are aspects to ancient Greek, Roman, and Chinese history that could appeal to you.

Incidentally, I believe the University's theatre department is showing Aristophanes' Peace this Autumn.

I would like to organize a robot and sentient AI based "support group." I know you're busy with your job, company, and justice league, so I wouldn't ask you to be involved in it's development or organization. But I would enjoy if you came to a few meetings.

Also if you're in... dire enough need for members of your 'League,' I wouldn't be opposed.

I wouldn't mind more chances to help, and I definitely need training.
