My fellow imPorts, it has come to my attention that many of you have encountered a mysterious girl who frequents the trash bins around Nonah and other cities. I have heard suspicion that she is, among other things:
- A fae
- A poltergeist
- Homeless
- A zombie
Allow me to assure you that she is none of these things. As some of you know, she is actually the goddess to which I am in service. She is The Pale Maiden, or The Many Wriggle, Keeper of Worms, and all that comes after death is her domain—rot, decay, the many insects and eaters of carrion that clear away the old and fallen. Trust me when I say she is perfectly happy to spend her time in these bins.
Do not, however, mistake this for an assurance that she is safe. The gods of my world are many things, but safe should not be said to be one of them. They are no more safe than, for example, a wild bear that a conservator has worked to gain the trust of. Perhaps they may have many good experiences together, but a bear is never going to be anything other than a bear.
With that in mind, please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- The Maiden is not human, does not behave as a human behaves, and will not become more human-like. Indeed, most resemblance between her and a human is incidental.
- Do not attempt to remove her from the trash bin.
- Avoid direct eye contact for longer than several seconds.
- Do not offer her fresh food. She is a being of decay.
- Do not accept food from her. However, if by some act of happenstance or guile, you do accept food, be sure to consume it in its entirety before seeking immediate medical assistance.
- Do not attempt to remove her from the trash bin.
- Do not allow her to bite you, nor should you bite her unless you are familiar with and prepared for the consequences.
- Once more, she is not a fae. Iron will have no effect on her. In an emergency, this video or one similar should provide suitable means of distraction and deescalation.
- Do not intentionally harass her. I am in her service and will personally deal with any who make it a point to cross her. Provided she does not take care of it herself first.
[OOC: Warnings and opt out for Maiden!]

I wasn't aware that your Maiden posed such an immediate threat to the ImPort population. Has something happened to spark such a warning?

However, she does not have intentions on eating anyone. Even if she did, she would be much more likely to visit a graveyard than to leap out at some unsuspecting imPort.
