So...uh...has anyone had luck negotiating with their roombas so far? I've been trying, but attempts at negotiations broke down when it heard what I thought were good names.

I need help.

And name suggestions.

Yeah, they're androids. And they have feelings. And I mean, sure, wiping a select memory, like you would with a human, would be one thing, or accidentally wiping memories when trying to restore them after they were blown up, but completely taking everything from them? That's...pretty extreme.

Hey, you might have an organic brain, they might have a mechanical brain, but memories get altered on people with organic brains in my world all the time. Mostly on humans, because I mean...who is going to do anything when you mess with a human's memories, right?

Once an android becomes sentient, there really isn't much of a difference.

If they feel any emotion or pain, it has been programmed into them. It is not real.

And how do you know it's not real? Sure, someone programmed it into them, but what's the difference if they really experience it?

As for Norbert, that name probably would have worked if the roomba didn't know it was being named after a cute little chihuahua mix on bluetube.
