[Anakin is somewhere in Jeopardy, leaning against a building with his hands in his pockets.]

So...those of you labeled as "villains"...

Does it bother you? Have you been treated differently because of it? Actions do speak louder than words, which means, of course, if you haven't acted on it, most people probably don't even know.

[He looks away, surveying something to his left with a critical eye.]

Can a "villain" become a "hero"? [The quotation marks are implied with his voice. Anakin doesn't think much of the ranking system, yet it's all correct, isn't it.]

[Private to Luke]

What happened? [He knows something is very wrong, but the details are murky.] Do you need me?

Yeah, I mean, it does make things easier to be here without any of the normal baggage between my species and yours, or any of the issues I'm having with other Reptilians. And I've found people to connect to here. But it would sometimes be nice to have someone with some first hand experience on what the deal is back home.

Yeah.

I've just sort of come to accept that they mean universe when they say world. But yeah, any alien species here is something new and novel to them.

I'm not totally unused to it. I was on Earth for a pretty long time back in my home universe, but my home planet was about nineteen light years away. It's different here, knowing that there's nowhere else to go.

My home planet? It's tidally locked to its sun, so it's always day on the side of the planet people live on. The far side of the planet is a dark and frozen tundra, so no one lives there. Reptilians on the planet live in basically this habitable ring on the side that's always day. It's hotter than most of Earth, but not too hot, and there's a lot of rain. If you get closer to the area right under the sun you get desert. It actually rains a lot there, too, but it's so hot there that the rain never hits the ground, so no one lives there either. Then, right under the sun, there's a hurricane.

Well, it rained a lot in the swamps that were further away from the sun. So it was wet, but there was plenty of food. Mostly fruits and grains and insects, but there's plenty of it. And then we have a lot of neat fungus that glows in the dark.

It is the Reptilian homeworld. I'd expect us to be well adapted to live there.

Yeah, your home world seems like an...odd choice. Why would your people settle a planet that's all desert when there are so many planets with more than one biome? Or at least better biomes?

Oh. Right. I...guess that would explain it, yeah.

[After all, no one would settle on a desert planet, but he could see someone using human slaves to mine one.]

I'm guessing you escaped that, though? Judging from your original post.

[After all, he doubted too many people went around considering whether they would always be villains if they spent their life working away on some desert planet.]

I'm sorry to hear that.

[All of that. That they'd take him away from his mother instead of saving his mother as well, and that she eventually secured her freedom only to die.]
