[Karolina appears on screen, flipping through a magazine.] So, if anyone's my age and has been a while: Are you thinking about 'continuing your education?' Because, I wanna help while I'm here. So training, volunteering, all of that is cool. But applying to a college I won't finish to learn a major I won't remember doesn't feel like the best possible use of time.

What do you guys think?

Like, a hard eight. I'm in college now. If I had just forgotten about having doubts about being here tomorrow, I'd be finished my undergrad by now.

What are you studying? You've gotta be pretty solid on it by this point, right?

I mean I'm not saying bail and don't do anything, but I got healing powers and that kind of made my decision for me, I guess.

I think I'm a little above the age range here, but -- I've become a lawyer here, and I won't remember that at home [ also because shes dead there whoops ] but I did it anyway because it was something to do here that makes my time here a little more valuable. Or something like that.

I get that. It's a good idea.

Even if I stayed here long enough to finish, though, I don't see it making me much more useful.

I've thought about attending medical school here, or at least getting some hands-on experience as a healer. I was given a healing ability I didn't have back home, and while it's true I might vanish tomorrow and remember nothing of it, I also feel like it wold help me make the best of the time I do have here.

But you'll vanish having healed people. That's worth something on its own.

Writing term papers, not so much.

Hmmm... yeah, I suppose so. I know they don't make anybody go to school here, so... if you feel like your time would be better spent doing other things to learn and help, you won't get in trouble for choosing to do so. There are ways to contribute that don't involve education.

I might not be in the age range you're asking opinions for, but if you don't mind my saying-- is higher education something you're interested in?

Because if it is, then even if you forget tomorrow, it doesn't negate that you're doing something you want to do today.

I mean, it sounds corny, but I'd only want to do it if it was gonna help me to help the people here.

I wanna make the most of my time here. For me, and for anyone who I might be able to help. I don't think that's fatalism.

So, yeah, it may just be college.

Which I may not look at much different when I get back home.

But how can you make the most of your time here, if you don't let yourself believe you have any? Doing a good deed in the moment, that's one thing, but ... is that the way you live your whole life? Moment by moment?

Like... why talk to any of us, or get to know any of us, when we might leave, or you might leave, and forget everything? That would make it just as useless, wouldn't it?
